What actually builds agency in young people?
Not buzzwords. Not one-off programs.
Real systems that connect:
- Education
- Opportunity
- Leadership
I’m building and studying that in real time.
What have you seen work?
Hold on a second! Did you know that if you have a smart TV, you can use it as an additional monitor? Officially moving from my office to the living room to get work done.

Today, Michelle and I are proud to announce that we will be hosting the dedication ceremony for the Obama Presidential Center on June 18th in Chicago, and welcoming the public on June 19th.
We can’t wait for you to visit. Go to obama.org to learn more.
My absolute favorite thing in the world is receiving picture mail of my niece and nephew. I adore them so much. My babies🩷💙.

Thank you @jazmine_champ and the @ConstitutionCtr for letting me be a student and learn from experts! Can’t wait to continue to learn from home with the ‘Civic Toolkit’.
✨ Kicking off the 2025–2026 Fellowship! ✨
I didn’t snag a Zoom screenshot last night, but I am thrilled to welcome our new cohort of NCC Fellows and even more excited to do so alongside the incredible @ConstitutionCtr Ed Team. #Con101Fellows #CivicsEducation

“naming the dead” on hulu is absolutely incredible. genetic genealogy, rebuilding family trees, stories of people getting their names back, families getting closure. i’ve seen a lot of true crime documentaries but this one i specifically recommend. @DnaDoeProject, you’re amazing.
I’m currently working on a paper while watching Naming the Dead on Hulu. I can’t stop sobbing over Episode 3 😭. #TrueCrime
