Oh, lovely stuff, Clay! 👏
Evening all. Here’s a new photo restoration and colourisation from #DoctorWho and the Massacre (of St Bartholomew’s Eve, if you must).
David Weston as Nicholas and Peter Purves as Steven outside Charles Preslin’s apothecary - sorry, apotheKary, according to the sign painter - in Riverside Studio 1 on Friday 28th January 1966 during camera rehearsals for Episode 2, ‘The Sea Beggar’.

I'm always on the hunt for artefacts (props, models, costumes) from Doctor Who's past, to feature lovingly in our docs! Particularly those bought at auction and not necessarily known about publically. Drop me a DM if you have anything relating to the stories not yet out on bluray

And finally, our lost Season 21 round-up concludes with The Circus of Destiny, by Ben Steed.
Huge thanks to @NothingLane for making these episodes possible.

Did you know #Blakes7 writer Ben Steed had a storyline under consideration for #DoctorWho? We find out more about The Circus of Destiny, originally planned for Season 21.
With massive thanks to @NothingLane.

Now that the Blake's 7 series 3 Blu-ray Collection has been announced, here's what will be included in the PDF Archive on this release. Enjoy!
Oh, honestly @David__Brunt, this is getting ridiculous. I'm not going to have room for any other books by the time your finished! 🤣🤣
Very sad to hear about the death of BBC film cameraman, John Walker. I'd known John for many years and he was always so willing to help out on the Doctor Who DVD/BR range with information, identifying people in photos or helping to track down others in the film unit. Top bloke.
I've got a vague memory, many years ago, that Marvel (?) published a set of lyrics that Vere Lorrimer had written to go with the Blake's 7 theme. I've no idea what the magazine was, though. Does anyone remember it?
Goodness me. Just look at the size of The Doctor Who Production Diary 2: The Troughton Years!

In the mid-80s, it was announced that the Aliens Special Edition was going to be released on VHS - and then, for some reason, it was all cancelled. Eventually, it came out in 1986, but can anyone recall why the cancellation of the originally planned release happened?
Recently been rewatching the excellent Aliens Expanded documentary and they recall a casting advert being in the "acting newspaper" - and indeed, there it is in The Stage of 11 July 1985, three months before shooting began.

Yes Jamie, it is a big one...
Even more than the Hartnell one was, by a substantial margin.
Not long to wait now.
TARDIS Vol 1/11 from Oct/Nov 1976 (when Face of Evil was in studio), published this, hinting that the new companion was going to be played by Emily Richard - a name that never appears in the lists of people they saw for the role of Leela. I wonder where they got that idea from?
