I used GPT4 to write the Processing.org code for this phase scope. I don't write Java, haven't used Processing before, and cannot do the maths required to make this work.

The sketch looks for transient peaks in the low end of the freq spectrum, at least a 1/8th note apart. When it detects one, it swaps the curve out for a random curve traced from one of the images and changes the colour.
