Quick update on our inactivity rule at @GFFutures
We recently moved it to 7 days. โฌ๏ธ
Some traders were leaving accounts sitting near drawdown instead of trading them out, and carrying those accounts month to month adds real cost for us. 7 days felt like a fair middle ground.
One thing we hadnโt fully accounted for: our payout cycles are 14 days apart. A trader who qualifies right after a cycle closes and waits for the next window could hit inactivity and have to take a trade just to stay eligible.
So weโre moving inactivity back up to 14 days.
One more thing on Payout cycles; itโs temporary.
Weโre finalizing payout-on-request across every plan: hit your objectives, request whenever you want. Weโre holding the release until we can process every request in under an hour, like we do now with the cycles.
P.S. Our Daily Payouts plan already runs without payout windows.
