The best engineers I've worked with in 8 years share one habit. It's not a language, a framework, or a 5 a.m. routine. They ask "why?" before "how." Average engineers take the ticket and build it. Good engineers build it well. The best ones say: "Before I build this, what's it for? Because if the goal is X, there's a simpler way." One engineer like that saves more money than any tool you'll buy this year. They're also the easiest to lose, because being asked "why" makes weak managers uncomfortable. Hire people who ask why. Then build a culture where asking it is safe.

That’s the quiet part we keep missing. Hyper connectivity gave us infinite access and almost no real availability. The sanctuary was never the content, it was the unplanned presence.

Brutally profound. We traded the sacred sanctuary of real-life camaraderie for the illusion of digital metrics. In an era of hyper-connectivity, emotional starvation is our quiet epidemic.
Save your friends. We live in strange times: connected, visible, active online and emotionally bankrupt. We know who went to Bali or ran a marathon. But ask how a close friend is doing, and people check Instagram for clues. Full data, zero real connection. There was a time friends landed unannounced, raided your fridge, and stayed till someone’s father asked, "Beta, ghar nahi jaana?" Now, meeting requires three calendar checks and a logistical operation that would embarrass the Indian Railways. Friendship has become a pending UPI request nobody approves; dying through small neglects until polite strangers exchange birthday wishes. What a sad downgrade. We got so busy networking that we forgot the people who knew us before we had anything to network for. The friend who saw your worst haircut deserves more than a story reaction. Drag them out for food. Talk for real. Careers change, cities move, and the world grows lonelier despite better WiFi. But a good friend is a small country you can return to when life gets unbearable. Save them before the friendship recession wipes them all out.

That’s exactly the shift. The friend who’d just show up is rarer now, which is why the ones who still do (or who pick up when you text) matter even more.

I still remember the friend who’d show up unannounced with nothing but a packet of biscuits and zero plans. Now it takes three calendar checks just to meet for coffee. Saving the post so I actually text someone tonight instead of just reacting to their story.

🛠️🧭 AI Writes the Code. What's Left for AI Engineers? If you are an AI Engineer, Software Engineer, Data Scientist, or ML Engineer, you've probably noticed how quickly AI coding agents are changing our work. Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and Cursor can now write entire applications in minutes. But here's what caught my attention: ✸ AI coding agents generate roughly 800% more code. ✸ Software delivery improves by only about 30%. ✸ Code review is becoming a major bottleneck. ✸ Passing benchmarks doesn't mean the code meets production requirements. After 20+ years of building AI systems, I wanted to understand which engineering skills will still matter in the next 5 to 10 years. So I put together my EXACT 2027 AI Engineer Roadmap. Here are the 12 Engineering Layers I would invest in: 》𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 + 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 ✸ Business Engineering → requirements + KPIs + product judgment ✸ Data Engineering → SQL + Python + Pandas + PySpark → Learn how to turn messy business problems into measurable AI objectives. 》𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 + 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 ✸ Knowledge Engineering → RAG + Neo4j + Qdrant + Docling ✸ Model Engineering → LLMs + VLMs + PEFT + Ollama → Learn how to organize domain knowledge and select the right models. 》𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁 + 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 ✸ Context Engineering → retrieval + memory + context management ✸ Semantic Engineering → ontologies + schemas + domain relationships → Learn how to give AI Agents the right information and make sure they understand its meaning. 》𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 + 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗽 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 ✸ Agent Engineering → LangGraph + CrewAI + PydanticAI + MCP ✸ Loop Engineering → feedback + reflection + self-improvement → Learn how to design AI Agents that can act, collaborate, and improve. 》𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 + 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 ✸ Evaluation Engineering → benchmarks + reliability + failure analysis ✸ Harness Engineering → execution control + tracing + versioning → Learn how to test, debug, and control agent behavior in production. 》𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 + 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 ✸ Infrastructure Engineering → AWS + Azure + deployment + MLOps ✸ Continual Learning → monitoring + feedback + anomaly detection → Learn how to deploy reliable AI systems and improve them using production data. 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿: I've been writing code for over 30 years, and I still enjoy it. But AI Engineering was never just about writing code. AI coding agents are changing how we build software. They don't remove the need to understand what we're building. And that is where I believe AI Engineers should invest their time.

The Gita warns: Another’s path brings danger.
The Gravity of Swadharma: Resisting the Trap of the Copied Life We live in a culture that mass produces identity, pushing us to copy standardized templates of success. When you adopt a path that belongs to someone else, you enter a state of severe internal friction. Classical text identifies this specific psychological crisis: Swadharma (your inherent path) versus Paradharma (someone else's path). • Swadharma: Action aligned with your true internal nature. It requires raw self-honesty to fulfill your specific obligations without seeking external validation. • Paradharma: A lane adopted out of comparison or prestige. Even if executed flawlessly, it remains an anxious performance. The Gita warns: Another’s path brings danger. Stop racing on a borrowed track. Clarify your own duty and own your lane.

True. Those pressures often disguise themselves as duty. The harder part is learning to tell genuine responsibility apart from fear of disappointing others. Swadharma doesn’t reject family or society ; it asks for the honesty to serve them from your own nature rather than from someone else’s template. That distinction is where most of the friction lives.

Family expectations, societal pressure and lack of courage to pursue one's true calling are perhaps the biggest reasons people follow someone else's path. The fear of disappointing others or being judged often makes them choose social acceptance over personal fulfilment.

Exactly. The irony of copying is that we often end up with the same problems anyway, just without the quiet strength that comes from walking our own imperfect path. The Gita’s point still holds: even a flawed swadharma is safer and more alive than a polished paradharma.

Beautifully written our dharma is better than the greatest duty of other one... We live in era where people copy and compare lives of another... Ironically the life, relationship and decor is same along with problems.. It's crucial for individuals to find their dharma and walk..

Exactly. The friction shows up as quiet exhaustion even when the external metrics look perfect. The culture rewards the performance of success more than the alignment that makes it sustainable.

This hits hard. The Gita’s point about paradharma creating internal friction feels more relevant than ever in a world that rewards copied templates of success.

So deeply resonant! 'Svadharme nidhanaṁ śreyaḥ paradharmo bhayāvahaḥ' there is no peace in living someone else’s destiny. Fulfilling your own duty without seeking validation is the ultimate form of spiritual maturity. Outstanding work on simplifying this timeless truth, keep inspiring us! 🎯🙏

To study this mechanics deeply, look into the Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 3, Verse 35). The verse concludes with a stark warning: 'para-dharmo bhayavahah'; the path of another is fraught with fear and danger. Forcing your mind into a foreign framework inevitably causes structural psychological collapse.

This is the real cost of paradharma ; not failure, but the constant low grade friction of performing a role that was never yours. The golden path may look slower from the outside, but it doesn’t require you to keep negotiating with yourself.

The Visual Metaphor Behind the Art: Reading the paths reveals the exact psychological choice between alignment and imitation: • The Straight, Blue Lane (Paradharma): Represents a path adopted out of comparison or prestige. It is rigid, lit by a harsh, artificial neon glow, leading toward a hollow destination that belongs to someone else. • The Curved, Golden Lane (Swadharma): Represents your inherent path. It is organic, carved from deep elements, and glows from within. It moves at its own pace, anchored entirely in your true internal nature. Fulfilling your own duty, however imperfectly, is infinitely superior to flawlessly performing someone else's life. Stay in your lane.

Well said. Owning your own lane, even imperfectly, still beats flawlessly running someone else’s race. The image captures it well: the rigid neon track looks efficient but hollow, while the golden path feels alive because it actually belongs to you.
