December 4, 1991: 33 years ago, the Hero of the People Nexhmije Hoxha was arrested by the neo-fascists. In her closing statement of the trial (held over a year later), she stated that history, the fairest judge, would analyse what Enver and the people's state power meant.

Today marks the 39th anniversary of the memorial meeting and burial of Comrade Enver Hoxha. The Albanian people said their final goodbyes to the greatest man born from their fertile soil. Production halted as a people of three million in Albania and two million in Yugoslavia turned to Tirana. Nature itself wept, pelting rain down on Skanderbeg Square, where the memorial meeting was held, and the Cemetary of the Martyrs of the Nation, where Comrade Enver was laid to rest.

April 11, 2024 marks the 39th anniversary of the death of Comrade Enver Hoxha. The speech given by the First Secretary on the occasion of Comrade Enver’s memorial meeting, subtitled into English, sums up the immortal life and work of this great and unforgettable Marxist-Leninist.

April 7, 1939: The Italian imperialists launched their invasion against Albania. The traitor King Ahmet Zogu refused to stay and fight, and prevented the people from arming themselves in self-defence, disserting and fleeing to the bosom of the British imperialists. In spite of Zogu, in every town and village, the Albanians fought valiantly and courageously, as they have always done, armed with nothing but their steel-like will. Time would prove what an unconquerable force the resistance of the Albanians would be to the fascist Italians, and later the nazi Germans.
