I'm interested to see how i can help shape the culture of a team in some capacity, next season. This is what a lot of talented teams are missing. Been fascinated watching this season from the outside looking in, with how the results and season has shaped. Seeing a "non-superteam" in Faze win champs, and the players on stage talking about culture, the trust, the process, the grind, the gym sessions and the mental skills training. All this affirmed my belief. Culture is the bedrock for success, like it is in any sport. COD is no different. Seeing Faze there reminded me of how we set NYSL up. Culture-first mentality. As a coach, that's what I do and have always done. Science, mental skills training, leadership, and relentless pursuit for excellence. My players know it's not just words on the wall but proactive actions, day to day, everyday. This season I recognised what we built there, and what FaZe have shown. I've spent the year educating myself through experiences in leadership and management, through my business, and others. I was sure that I'd never want to coach again but once a coach, always a coach. I miss dedicating myself to the improvements of others, it's an itch that doesn't leave.
