Beautiful crisp sunny day in Caernarfon strolling past the old jail. The gulls flying high without a care … Gogoneddus! – at Caernarfon, Wales

“The range and beauty of Dürer’s work dumbfounds us; as with Shakespeare, it is hard to believe all this could be the work of one man.” Great review by @philipwhale - can’t wait to see this show! @LauraCummingArt @Eyejaybeeeee

Along with Georges Braque, Picasso invented 'collage' as an art form in its own right. Where would we be without a bit of 'cutting & sticking'. 😮❤️
Definitely a believer in Ruskin’s view that: ‘industry without Art is brutality’. Great reminder after a fulfilling day of visioning our combined Arts strategy for the future of @LifeFullColour1 @evermore1st & @TheDoctorsArtHQ

I was impressed by the delicacy of Kate's watercolour, her icing sugar was truly magical up close. And as an art historian, her painting reminded me of Vincent van Gogh’s “The Potato Eaters”, evoking a domestic scene which Van Gogh rarely painted.
Llongyfarchiadau Kate!
Congratulations to Kate Craciun on being awarded the Chairman’s Prize at our 2021 open show, Hiraeth, for her painting "Baking Together”. We were instantly transported to the kitchen where we could smell the baking and feel the reality of the scene.
Well done Kate! @Welsh_art

In 2017 @Jocelynblossom painted the same piece of sky & sea every single day. This is 21-24 December 2017, it will be appearing in our new show, opening 14 January, along with other days throughout that year. An incredible way to capture a moment in time! @Welsh_art @NWalesSocial – at Wales, United Kingdom
Hope we can travel more freely this year 👩🎨
