The Scripture envisions distinct peoples, not an amalgamated, deracinated mass.
“The nations (ethnē) will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it.” — Revelation 21:24
Ethnic/cultural distinction survives.

None of these distinctions make one person ontologically inferior to another.

Notice that they are before the throne; it does not say they are in the same earthly space.
This passage describes redeemed people under the New Covenant, not a blueprint for manufacturing heaven-on-earth. It teaches the present reality of the redeemed people of God within the borders of their respective nations, normatively (Acts 17:26).

The death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person. The common good can be safeguarded and the requirements of justice can be met without recourse to capital punishment: effective systems of detention have been developed that protect citizens while at the same time do not completely deprive those who are guilty of the possibility of redemption. #NoDeathPenalty
