Full time at Greens Meadow in our @EmiratesFACup match, and the crowd erupts as the scoreline is 2-1 to a ten man Stow! That clock seemed to keep ticking forever, and this Admin is feeling quite emotional! 😭 Thank you to our opponents @HistonFC for making the trip today, and we wish you the best of luck for the rest of your season. 💛🖤 #OneClubOurClubSince1883

📣Volunteers needed! 📣 Can you spare some time to help at Greens Meadow from 10am Tuesday 28th May to Friday 31st May? We are removing the old wooden fence around the pitch, and need all the help we can get, ahead of it being replaced! Any time you can spare would be very much appreciated, thank you! 💛🖤 #OneClubOurClubSince1883

An update from our U18’s Manager, Shaun Finn, on tonight’s win! 💛🖤 STOWMARKET TOWN 1-0 NEEDHAM MARKET Tonight we played our final game of the season against our local rivals, Needham Market! The last encounter was full of goals so it was expected to be a competitive game with Needham sitting second and us sitting in forth with games in hand and win would keep us in the hunt for 2nd. The first half was very much a tight affair with both side cancelling each other out, Needham came closest hitting the wood work and Stowmarket created half chances. HT 0-0 The second half pretty much mirrored the first half but there was more intensity from both sides! Again there were a lot of half chances from Both sides! Both defences were on top and it was looking like it was going to finish a draw and to be honest that would have been a fair result but a cross from Beau Szyszlyk was deflected in by a Needham defender to make it 1-0 and gave us a hard fought victory! FT 1-0 Summary: a big result and hard fought win against a well drilled and organised team! We were made to work for the win, but like with most of our games this season, we have always been difficult to break down and defensively we’ve been solid so it was always going to be possible to grind a result! The result means we have gone 13 games unbeaten this season and haven’t lost since September and have only lost to Leiston who were the champions! We finish the season in fourth but we are confident we would have finished in the top three or even second if the league had if let us play our games. On a personal note, it’s been a pleasure to coach a great bunch of lads! To go 13 games without defeat is something to be proud of and means we have finished the highest position our U18’s have finished in a long time!

📣 We are now seeking a main sponsor for the season ahead! 📣 This is an opportunity to support your local club whilst ensuring your logo and brand are prominently featured on our first team kit, ground, social media and website. 💛🖤 Get in touch! 📞📧
