I just got swooped. Not by a magpie; by a willy wagtail. If you don't know what that is, think tiny, sassy bird that hates everyone. Territorial and aggressive. He dive bombed my head 4 times. Felt like a walnut falling on me. I ran away waving and screaming "STOP THAT!" Jerk.

Today in cobblemon, @Lupus_Arcum found me a spoink. I don't have words for the joy this brings me.

My day job allows me to work from home a few days a week, so on those days, I wake up early and stream before the day job kicks off. If I have energy and interest after dinner, I might stream then, too. And of course, weekends are for streams, movie nights, patron calls, etc.

My @TheRogueEnergy tumbler is finally giving out - it’s splitting along the edge of the lid. It’s been a workhorse for me; I’ve put this thing through hell for years now, dragging it to work and workouts. I’m impressed it lasted as long as it did!

We’re home! Some takeaways from our America: 1. Emirates is the best airline, hands down 2. Times Square smells like weed, but it’s all part of the experience 3. Pokémon card shops are fun everywhere 4. Medieval times will always be the best ever 5. Wetzels pretzels yummmmm

One of my favorite things is finding Little Golden Books for children that are based on properties or stories that really probably shouldn’t be shared with children. How do you tell “Jaws” to a four year old? Make it about opposites! Yayyyyy

We went to New York. A nor’easter came and pummeled us. We went to Florida. A hurricane formed and sent a bunch of torrential rain that pummeled us. We went to California. A big ol tropical storm showed up and pummeled us. Starting to think America doesn’t want us to be dry.

I have nearly all the English spoink Pokémon cards now! Yay! But I’m learning how hard it is to find Japanese spoinks in the wild. If you spot a Japanese spoink card somewhere, please lemme know! They’re not expensive or valuable, just hard to find. I need my bouncy boys!
