`UPDATE ON THE ONGOING OAU ADMISSION EXERCISE.` Admission processing has started and candidates in some faculties have begun seeing “You have been proposed for admission by your institution” on JAMB CAPS. The three stages of admission are: Proposed Recommended Approved Once your admission status changes to Approved, accept it by sending an SMS in this format: `2026600000000AD ACCEPT` Send to 55019 or 66019, then confirm acceptance on your JAMB CAPS. NOTE: Your admission must be uploaded to JAMB before it can reflect on the school portal. Candidates who meet the merit cutoff are expected to be considered first, followed by catchment and other eligible candidates. Those who miss their course cutoffs may be considered for transfer, depending on available spaces. Please do not rush to change your course on JAMB CAPS. Allow OAU to process possible transfers first and follow the instructions on your CAPS. 📌 RESUMPTION DATES FOR FRESH STUDENTS October 31, 2026: Administration, Arts, EDM, Education, Law and Social Sciences. November 1, 2026: Agriculture, Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Computing Science and Engineering, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Science and Technology. Those who meet the cutoff can begin preparing for resumption while awaiting official confirmation. Others should remain hopeful and check their CAPS regularly. AOJ𓃵
