Shoutout to @PescisPizza !
I had to order a special pizza for my brother-in-law with some very specific instructions, and they went above and beyond! 😬
Bravo!
Me in 2065 when Yankees finally win their next World Series.
He's waited decades for this. He's never stopped believing. This is a dream come true.
Enjoy this clip. He's everybody's dad tonight.

Pat McAfee said this. Pat McAfee did that. Wake me up when Pat McAfee actually protects my computer from viruses like I freaking paid for.
Hal needs to sell the team. Cashman needs to go.
Get what’s become a shit run organization back to greatness.
Jorge Posada was asked if he thinks he could improve the Yankees "unacceptable" behaviors by bringing his fiery attitude and baseball instincts around the current team:
"I could, but I don't think they want me there. I don't feel welcome when I go there. Even in Spring Training... So I don't go."

Arsenal just lost to Fleetwood Town in the EFL Cup.
Arsenal’s roster: $1.5 BILLION
Fleetwood Town’s roster: $3 million
Fleetwood is currently 18th in the 4th level of English soccer.
Possibly the biggest upset in English soccer history.

For about a week, three people lived in the front seat of a U-Haul in a Walmart parking lot.
The mother drove. The older brother sat in the middle. The youngest slept against the passenger door.
They could not run the engine for the air conditioning, so in the afternoons they walked around inside the Walmart.
The kid against the door is six foot seven now. His name is Darnell Washington, he plays tight end for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and this morning in France he caught a touchdown in a Steelers win.
Mike DeFabo wrote the rest of it down.
The family had been evicted. He finished his freshman year sleeping on a friend's couch, and when that friend moved they packed the truck without knowing where they were going.
After the parking lot they scraped together enough for a few nights at a motel.
Here is how he says it.
"I was homeless a lot."
"I probably can't even put a number on how many apartments we lost."
The family moved every four or five months. He was in foster care until the third grade.
He enrolled at Desert Pines High School in Nevada as a sophomore and was selling raffle tickets for the football team when an assistant coach named David Hill found him in the weight room.
Hill asked where they were living. Then he started paying their rent out of his own pocket, chased down donated shoes, and sometimes put the family up in his own house.
Here is what Washington says about that.
"If he didn't do that, we'd be back on the streets."
In his first year at that school he won a state championship in football, a state championship in basketball, and a state title in the shot put.
Then Georgia, where he won two national championships and mostly blocked, because Brock Bowers was there and the ball went to Brock Bowers.
"When I wasn't getting the ball more, I had to embrace something."
The Steelers took him in the third round in 2023.
Now the brother. Ezekiel is a year older. He got straight A's, he ran training laps carrying a weighted pack, and Darnell says he always did the right thing.
Ezekiel joined the Marines.
So Darnell made him a promise. The first time he ever scored in the NFL, whatever else happened, he was going to salute.
In September of 2024 he caught a five yard pass against Denver for the first touchdown of his career, stood up in the end zone, and saluted.
"I saluted for my brother. He serves right now in Washington D.C."
"So I just told him the first touchdown, that's what I'm going do. So that's what I did."
Be straight about what he is. He caught 57 passes in his first three seasons combined. He is a blocker who scores about once a year, and this is his fourth season.
But in June the Steelers gave him four years and 42 million dollars, and a man who spent a week of his childhood sleeping upright in a parking lot does not have to wonder where he is staying tonight.
What is the smallest thing somebody once did for you that changed everything.

Something has to be done about these refs.
@NFLOfficiating has no accountability.
@nflcommish needs to start fining the refs the way he does the players.
Does @nflcommish have a vendetta against the @packers?
It’s EVERY game some soft, BS roughing/taunting call.
