This space is so absurd sometimes that you can see collections so cool like @ODDCATSdotCOM that have been featured on the latest @beeple pieces and you still don’t pay attention to it! Better for the real collectors 😎👀

I've seen a lot of people asking about rarity, so let me explain the philosophy behind ODD CATS.
If rarity is important to you, it's completely okay to sell your CAT. We knew from day one this decision wouldn't be for everyone.
We intentionally chose not to build a traditional rarity system.
In the past, I've made collections with grails, 1/1s and legendary traits. This time we wanted to build something different.
The goal wasn't to create a collection where everyone fights over the top 1%.
The goal was to create a friendly PFP where everyone could find themselves.
Whether you're an artist, a builder, a founder, a collector or just someone who likes the art, every CAT was designed to stand on its own.
We spent months working on the color palette, the silhouettes and the trait combinations because we wanted the collection to feel timeless, not driven by a rarity chart.
That decision also ties directly into the experiment.
Every CAT generates 10 Hash Power.
Every CAT participates equally.
ODD CATS is inspired by the Bitcoin protocol. We wanted people focused on participating in the experiment, not worrying whether they minted #27 or #4,892.
That doesn't mean rarity doesn't exist.
It just doesn't exist on day one.
The mutations are where scarcity begins.
The experiment starts this week, and over time you'll understand why we designed the collection this way.
We've always believed projects should be judged by what they build, not by a rarity ranking on reveal day.
Maybe this approach isn't for everyone.
And that's okay.
We're not trying to build for everyone.
We're building for the people who believe collecting can be more than chasing the rarest JPEG.
See you this week. The experiment is just getting started.

ODD CATS are finally revealed.
Honestly, I'm really proud of what we created.
We made a conscious decision to do things differently. There are no 1/1s. The only true rarity is the eyewear.
Everything else was intentionally designed so every CAT could feel like a grail in its own way.
That was the experiment from day one. We wanted people to find the CAT that felt like them, not simply chase a rarity ranking.
Your cats have been revealed.

This is NOT an official collaboration with the FWOG IP.
As always, DYOR and make your own decision on whether minting makes sense for you.
That said, it's worth noting that FWOG's Top 500 holders are included on the ODD Cats whitelist, and the mint starts in just a few hours.
Good luck to everyone participating. 🫡🐸🐱

📢 A Letter to the Community
Hello Cats,
I've seen a lot of discussion around WL not being guaranteed, so I wanted to explain why things changed.
When ODD CATS was originally planned as a 10,000 supply collection, WL was guaranteed, and so were our partner allocations.
As development progressed, we simply didn't feel the demand or market conditions justified launching a 10k collection at 0.0033 ETH.
Instead of forcing it, we made the decision to reduce the supply to 5,555.
Naturally, that meant changes had to happen.
Not only to the WL phase, but also to our partner allocations.
To stay fair, we couldn't keep every original allocation intact. Partner communities also had to reduce their allocations, with many moving from full community access to only their top holders. It wasn't just WL that changed—everyone was affected by the supply reduction.
I've also seen questions about why partners mint first.
This has always been part of our vision.
Our partners aren't just projects we did a quick WL swap with. They're communities we've spoken to directly, founders we've built relationships with, and long-term partners that will continue to be part of future D00ds Studios experiments—not just ODD CATS.
We're building a studio, not a single collection, and we believe long-term partnerships are far more valuable than one-off collaborations.
I know I've repeated this a few times already, but I wanted to make sure everyone understood why these decisions were made.
Whether you agree with every change or not, please know that every decision was made with the goal of being as fair and professional as possible for everyone involved.
If you believe in what we're building, we'll be waiting for you on the 31st.
Thank you for reading, and thank you to everyone who's supported us along the way.

ODD CATS art goes way back in 2024 as a rough concept art until early 2025 it was going to be called crazy catz.
Never released the character and stayed as only concept, 1 year later we re-designed crazy to ODD CATS and perfected our art direction.
My creations go way back.

we stayed quiet because we were experimenting.
weeks of testing colors, trait combinations and trying to find an identity that actually felt like us. honestly, color theory ended up being the hardest part. we didn't want colors that clashed, but we also didn't want everything to look overly pastel. finding that balance took way longer than i expected.
today i can finally say we locked it in. the collection is finished and on its way to OpenSea.
i'm genuinely proud of what we've created. not just because of the art, but because a few years ago i was just a solo artist with an idea. today i have a studio, an art team, collab managers and community managers all working toward the same vision.
i know calling it a studio is still a new concept in ETH, but i'm proud of how far we've come, both artistically and as a team.
i hope you guys enjoy the art on the 31st.
like i've said from day one, this collection is our love letter to the 2021 era of NFTs.
