MSMT: $1.19B stolen in 2024 = roughly a third of their hard currency that year.
2024 mid 2025: $2.84B.
2025 alone: $2B (60% of global crypto theft). Then Binance for another $6B+.
Sanctions blocked the old routes so they just industrialized the new one. Social engineering, fake IT workers, Chinese OTC cashouts. Fewer hits, bigger bags.
Regime treating the whole crypto market like an ATM. Numbers don’t care about the ideology.
