He's also scared 30 goals twice and won 3 golden boots in the supposed toughest league in the world. 2nd all time top scorer in that same league. Top all-time scorer for the English national team and one of the best goals per game ratio in the UCL. Top 5 in WC history too.

Lewandowski wasn't robbed in 2020. France Football cancelled the Ballon d'Or because of COVID before the Champions League knockouts, and that decision was understandable. The real robbery was 2021. Messi won largely on the strength of the Copa América, yet Alexis Sánchez won the same tournament and its best-player award in 2016 without even making the Ballon d'Or top 30. Lewandowski was far superior at club level in 2021. The Ballon d'Or's biggest problem is inconsistency, and somehow that inconsistency always seems to favour Messi.

For context, 2 wins = Utd have 80 pts. Our first loss c Palace var robbed hs with robbed a lindelof handball then a penalty retake after ddg saved. Vs Sheffield VAR ignored foul to give them a goal & we had a clear goal disallowed. Otherwise, we’d have been level with city.
