What started as a small alpha cave in 2021
Became one of web3’s most loyal, ruthless, and respected families

early info, sorting everything (won't be perfect but close):
7,162~ x accounts and 25,225~ unique wallets participated
web3 is PVP most days.
grind harder. sniper faster. don't miss the window.
then life hits and the window closes.
i met @lau_btc grinding projects in 2021. we became real friends. he lives far away and still showed up at my wedding. that kind of loyalty outlasts every mint cycle.
i couldn't chase @zksnarks_ this round. my daughter was born a week ago. sleep is gone. “work” barely exists right now.
i'm not mad about missing my shot.
i'm worried about him.
he got selected. he was buzzing. then an urgent health thing hit and he couldn't link the wallet in time. now he's wrecked. anyone who goes all in on this market knows how heavy that sits in your chest.
good friends > another PFP.
if the team can still help him, it would mean a lot.
@zksnarks_
Let me tell you about something that happened to me this week.
Life is full of surprises, and we should always be willing to learn from them. Even the worst moments can teach us valuable lessons, and we have to learn how to deal with adversity.
I’ll give you a brief summary, I promise 😽😽
This week has been extremely eventful in our crypto/NFT bubble, especially with the launch of @zksnarks_ and everything happening around Zcash. It has been, and still is, the center of attention. We’ve had some heated discussions surrounding the team and the project, with even some major influencers like @zachxbt getting involved in the conversation.
This is where my part of the story comes in.
I was one of the lucky ones selected for the @snarklist during the final moments of the list probably among the last 40.
I already knew about the project and was really hyped about it. A lot of people were talking about it, and I really wanted to be part of it because it reminded me so much of the early days of Ordinals: a new network and everything happening around it.
I know how crazy that era was, and even today, it remains one of the wildest periods in Web3. I absolutely loved experiencing it.
However, that moment of excitement after getting a spot in the project didn’t last more than 24–30 hours.
I made a pretty serious mistake by not linking my X account and my wallet to the website before the claim window closed. I know, I was an idiot, but the timing between being selected and actually seeing the message was really unfortunate for me.
At the time, I was dealing with a health issue involving a family member, taking them to medical appointments and helping with their treatment. Then, the very next day, the auction opened and everything became absolutely crazy.
Anyway, I got hit with some really bad luck.
It brought back the exact same feeling I had a few years ago when I fell for a phishing scam and lost 5 ETH — that same mix of anger and frustration with myself. It kept me up for two nights, constantly thinking about everything that had happened.
The day all of this happened, I honestly couldn’t believe it.
When I realized that I hadn’t connected my wallet and my X account and that I had “lost” the airdrop, I was really devastated. Even with all the support from my friends and my wife, the only place where I could find comfort was in the words of the Bible, and that’s where I turned.

But why am I writing this whole story?
Simply because I know these difficult moments will probably happen again, just as good moments will come too.
What matters is learning how to deal with both sides of life and understanding that we don’t always have control over what happens to us only over how we respond to it
“For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again.”

conviction plays are the best plays. OCH was one of mine.
minted @onchainheroes at launch, never sold. it just keeps rewarding holders and keeps getting better every month.
now @skarly is shipping @yieldfields_rh on robinhood and the whole chain is watching. this is why you back founders, not just jpegs.
pick projects you actually believe in. mint. hold. let the builders build.
Just submitted my ₿-R4ted application — Card #1876, status: PENDING.

One auction. Two footprints. By design.
You could bid through Intents with no $ZEC in hand. Or bid shielded in ZEC and keep size dark.
@zksnarks_ sells encrypted identity on Zcash. The payment rail is optional privacy, not a bug.
Want convenience across chains? Take Intents.
Want the full shield? Stay in ZEC.
That choice is the product.
A private identity with a public payment path, or both dark.
That’s the point of building on $ZEC.

Made this piece in the spirit of @zksnarks_.
Encrypted identity on Zcash.
A face you can see without owning the person behind it.
Not a flex PFP.
A plate that says: known without being seen.
The interesting part of @zksnarks_ isn't another mint date.
It's a blind auction on Zcash.
Bid your max. Top 8,000 win. Every winner pays the lowest winning price.
No transparent sniper war on a public chain.
Privacy baked into how price discovery happens.
It’s been tough dealing with @Skarly
But this shows that he is carefully handpicking the collabs 💜
Ty for the spots to @0xAlphaGEMs 💎
And all the best to @YieldFields_RH 💪🏻

Most NFT identity is a face you publish so the timeline can score it.
@zksnarks_ flips that.
Encrypted identities on Zcash. Faces assembled from noise. The point isn't the art drop. It's a simple claim:
you can be known without being seen.
On most chains, your PFP is a billboard.
Here the identity is shielded. Presence without a public dossier. Privacy isn't secrecy. It's choosing what you reveal, and holding that choice on $ZEC.
That's the interesting part to me.
Not another avatar season. A cultural bet that identity can live where disclosure is optional.
I applied because that bet is rare.
Shielded by default.
i don't have any friends. so i'm waiting for @RareFriendsNFT rarefriends.com/whitelist?re…
I spent time reading @standard_rsv today.
The Genesis Charter gets the attention, but the design is more interesting underneath: Branches earn a share of issuance, expansion burns $STANDARD, and realizing rewards means giving up future earning power.
A few notes as I go. 1/3
The Standard Reserve is coming.
We’re about to enter our second round of audits as we move closer to launch.
Thank you to @UniswapFND for helping fund our audits and supporting the work required to ship this securely.
