The government is making red diesel available for on-highway vehicles, which is flagging mass levels of quiet panic among those who know what it means. If you have ever worked in any trade, you know that is state religion blasphemy.
You aren't aware, because you probably haven't been in the real world for years and were probably just a desk jockey before you came into crypto.
People are evacuating their dollars into everything but your crypto because you decided to let the feds, casinos, and criminals paint it as a short-term attention market (casino) to launder money instead of a place where people can form long-term communities and have an alternative asset to utilize as a practical storage of wealth that isn't controlled by government overlords.

Crypto twitter is devolving into two sides.
Day traders/gamblers and long term holders.
The day traders and gamblers will recycle the same pool of money between them with the large accounts banking 98% of the circulating liquidity. They will rinse new market participants of everything they invest and scare them off.
My friends and I (long term holders) will slowly recruit new market participants with the promise of community and 1000x over 3 years. We will sell our tokens to VCβs and exchanges as they see the value in the free marketing and memetic energy that 10000 hardcore holders ensure.
They will, in turn, sell their supply to chinese whales, web2 influencers and plumbers/uncles who want exposure to memecoins.
Only one of these paths ensures new liquidity and that all of us who are here now (early) win together.
I have been here before and will do it again.

Fee farming used to be a good meta.
It used to be the LPs of your favorite coins: decentralized, anyone can do it, genuine growth, and everyone wins in some way (little or big). People added LP into coins to get transaction fees; coins grew.
Then apps started to get in between every transaction to capture the fees: centralized, actors hiring actors, which hire more actors, until it's all fake and lame and pyramid-shaped in design. An endless meta of staged rotation to maximize their fee capture; coins endlessly going to zero.
Fee farming has always been around. The problem is that the incentive has changed.
