Day 1795 of this post being up & no apologies to Big Swole from @TonyKhan re: B&G2026: Wait.. I'm all for more women in Blood and Guts. Good on TK making Aminata whole from last year. But did AEW ever communicate "6 women" before? If not, why Persephone doing "school news"? 1/2

The top 2 @AEW execs are brown (me & Megha)!! Jade, Bowens, Caster, Dante, Nyla, Isiah & Marq Quen all won on tv this month. The TBS Title Tournament has been very diverse. I let Swole’s contract expire as I felt her wrestling wasn’t good enough. #AEWRampage Street Fight TONIGHT!

Compare the vibes of the women’s hype video to how AEW is promoting the men: blustery, character-driven in-ring interview (in the context of the near 6-year Mox/Darby story, 2-year Orange/Moxley story, + 3-year BCC/1-year Death Riders as AEW’s core story)

Cellphone video captured an ICE agent pointing a gun at a bystander walking two dogs during an immigration enforcement operation in North Hollywood on Friday. The footage shows masked officers detaining another man before two agents rush toward the dog walker after he appears to pick something up from the ground. One agent pushes him into bushes while pointing a gun at the bystander's face.

Watching Elizabeth Holmes spend her final days before going to jail speed-running the creation of Theranos 2.0 kind of redeemed for me the idea that the Empire would just make a second Death Star.

Day 1794 of this post being up & no apologies to Big Swole from @TonyKhan re: B&G2026: "Advantage" is a critical part of a Blood and Guts/Wargames match. 2026 already has less set up than last year (and others). Seems like TK will do an off screen coin flip and call it a day.

Note: It's always funny how a show/match can be announced months in advance, with consistent beats/segments leading to it, yet the craft/details/logistics can get away from TK. Even with men's programs! Just a slip of the mind.
