In 2022, the voters of Oklahoma City Public Schools approved nearly $1 billion in desperately-needed infrastructure. The vote also delivered a higher level of ongoing funding to bring OKCPS infrastructure support to the same level as OKC’s suburban school districts. I stood alongside OKCPS leadership, the Greater OKC Chamber and other community leaders to vigorously advocate for our city’s kids. It was a hard-fought campaign against funded opposition, and it was definitely the closest recent election in our city. We needed over 60% for passage and we got 63%. A new Capitol Hill High School represented nearly $120 million of the plan. This would replace a 98-year-old building that had seen better days. Today, we officially cut the ribbon on that beautiful new school. This will be a place where our kids will love to learn. It was a great day for our kids, our city, the Capitol Hill community and South OKC! #1OKC

One of the struggles when a cow calves is every once in a while they’ll just forget they have a calf, and leave it. My wife had one of those yesterday, momma walked off and never looked back. Calf was just curled up in a pile of weeds in the sun all day. Finally, in the evening, knowing it need to suck, she slowly herded the cow back near the calf, went over and got the calf on its feet, held it, and coaxed the momma even closer. Finally, momma sniffed, hummed, remembered apparently, and all seemed well. Then my wife let the calf go. It bolted. I mean it ran like lightning… straight through the barbed wire fence into the next pasture… this time momma did chase and my wife ran and opened the gate so the cow could go around… but the baby kept going right though the next pasture’s barbed wire fence and she lost sight in the brush and trees. We spent the entire evening searching, walking through the trees, brush, everywhere. When night fell, the howl of every coyote was an ominous threat, sounding closer each time. Flashlights poured over every branch and into every gulley looking for a reflection of eyes, listening… and nothing. Finally, exhausted, my wife went to bed late fretting; I worry but not the way she does; she is the ultimate shepherd and losing one hurts to her core. This one really bothered her because, to her mind, if she hadn’t tried to pair them, calf wouldn’t have bolted. That’s the constant struggle between letting nature be versus nudging when nature falls short. She spent a sleepless night and was up before dawn, ready to find the remains. The coyote howls were still echoing in our minds from the night before. But lo and behold, first look into the pasture and the baby was at its mommas side! Nobody that doesn’t live this life understands the highs, lows, stresses, losses, and victories. This morning was a victory. Thank you God for this moment. Wanda and her baby, safe and sound and together.

February 2014. Maidan Square, Kyiv. John McCain filming the protests, standing shoulder to shoulder with US Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt, while Victoria Nuland stands just behind them. A striking snapshot of Washington’s direct involvement in Ukraine’s political upheaval. The same officials who spoke so confidently about democracy were right there amid the turmoil surrounding the removal of a democratically elected president. This raises an uncomfortable question: was this truly about defending Ukrainian democracy, or about Washington advancing its own geopolitical agenda at Ukraine’s expense?

Passenger traffic at OKC Will Rogers International Airport has increased 25 percent over the last ten years. Now, just under five million passengers pass through our city’s airport each year. And in other cities with population growth like ours, we’ve seen passenger numbers grow exponentially. We have to plan and prepare for that growth at our airport, because we never want to decline new air service due to inadequate infrastructure. This week I stood with our airport director Jeff Mulder and Airport Trust chair Terry Salmon to publicly share the long-term plans at Will Rogers. This includes a new parking garage, new gates and aesthetic improvements (including a new location for our terrific but overlooked Will Rogers statue!) For more details: okc.gov/News-articles/OKC-Wi…

“Russia is going to invade Europe” is the new “Iraq has weapons of mass destruction.” European elites want you to see Russia as the villain to distract from who the villain really is (them.)

Our farm raised beef is born here, raised here, and processed here. It is also certified as never having been molested by an FBI agent. We do keep our Pyrenees on guard at all times, just in case.
Real beef. Unlike the administration’s imports, there is no mystery to what species it is, where it comes from, how it’s fed, or how it’s treated.

Age limits for elected office is one of the most reasonable, uncontroversial, common sense policies that has no discernible downside and would attract wide approval from both liberals and conservatives. You could even set the cap high, like age 80, and remove any possible argument against it while still solving a significant chunk of the problem. But it will never happen because the politicians themselves would have to put the policy in place. And they won't do anything that limits their ability to cling to power, even to their dying breath.
This is not acceptable. This is humiliating for the country. I don’t know what needs to be done, but we have to stop this. The senate is not hospice.

When Lankford was first elected to the Senate during a Fake Russian Collusion Hoax, I watched Lyndsay Graham and John McCain take Lankford on MSNBC and CNN every morning so the Anchor's could ask him if Trump was a role model for his kids, like the liars asking the question were in the know who was admirable, The picture shows the 2 creepiest men in the US Senate along with the person that won't hold elections in his Democratic country, and yes Lankford was groomed!

When a sitting senator sits down with a tyrannical head of state and can't recognize what is staring him in the face, you understand just how fake our elections really are.
I spent a few days in Kyiv, Ukraine, where I sat down with President Zelenskyy to discuss the Ukrainian fight against tyranny.

I have said this for 30 years ,
Joe Rogan just revealed something the U.S. government never wanted public - Bob Woodward was a CIA asset who took down Nixon because Nixon knew who killed JFK Bob Woodward wasn’t a journalist. He was a Naval intelligence officer working inside the Nixon White House. Then he suddenly appears at the Washington Post as a brand-new reporter with zero experience… And gets handed the biggest story in American history. His main source? The #2 guy at the FBI. The Watergate burglars? Almost all CIA employees. Nixon was elected by more votes than any president in U.S. history. Two years later he’s gone. Why? Because he knew who killed JFK… and was about to expose it. This wasn’t journalism. This was a deep-state coup.

Hi Mike. Easy answer: Oklahomans voted to legalize medical marijuana. Legal, licensed Oklahoma businesses need banking services, and my bank provides them. In fact, the bank that gave you a $12 million loan, Regent Bank, also provides banking services to the cannabis industry. There’s a big difference between legal Oklahoma businesses and Chinese crime syndicates and Mexican cartels. As Attorney General, I’ve fought to shut down illegal grow operations, prosecute traffickers, and drive foreign criminal organizations out of Oklahoma. So, Mike, if banking legal cannabis businesses is wrong, you might want to have that conversation with your own banker. Hope this helps!
We’ve asked this question more than once. Instead of a straight answer, we’ve gotten the runaround. Now others are asking too, and they should be. If Oklahoma’s Attorney General is chairing a bank making MILLIONS from the marijuana industry his office is supposed to police, Oklahomans deserve a clear explanation before they cast their vote. Know who you’re voting for. Vote Mike Mazzei this Tuesday in the Republican runoff. The only conservative in this race. citynewsokc.com/opinion/gent…
