Feast of St Carlo Acutis
Today in the Archdiocese of Armagh, we not only remember St Oliver Plunkett on the 50th anniversary of his canonisation but mark the first celebration of the feast day of St Carlo Acutis. This weekend also marks feast of Pope St. John XXIII… three inspirational lives, three different generations, one call to follow Christ. A call that asks each of us to be courageous, joyful witnesses to Christ in our world.
May young people today strive to be just like St. Carlo, St. Oliver, and Pope St. John XXIII and help renew the Church with hearts alive in faith, hope and love. We ask all to pray for young people accross the world, that they may encounter Christ and be filled with the Joy of the Gospel always.
