Ahoy there! What's controversial about UK Labour Transport Secretary @LouHaigh boycotting rogue P&O Ferries? Here's Conservative predecessor @grantshapps urging the same 19/20/22. "UK Transport Secretary Grant Shapps urged Britons to boycott P&O Ferries" - @BloombergUK bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

If like me you’re liking a lot of what Labour are doing, then it falls to us to shout it out. Things I’m loving: - New Workers Rights - Better Transport - Reducing NHS waiting Lists - Feeding school kids - Green initiatives - Changes to Lords - Renters Rights - Knife reform

You couldn’t make it up.
Weak, weak, weak! Labour lied to get into office. Said they’d be whiter than white, said they wouldn’t put up taxes, said they’d stand up to the EU, said that they be patriotic. All lies! bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c98y…

The way the ECHR is applied may at times irritate and as in all human affairs no court will always be perfect in its reasoning and decisions. But the ECHR has done immense good throughout Europe. Precisely because it is a " living instrument", it has been able to promote human rights. We take for granted today that illegitimate children should not suffer discrimination and that homosexual relationships should not be criminalised. But delivering these reforms is just some of the good work of the ECHR. As Churchill saw, it's drafting and promotion has been one of the great achievements of UK soft power for the common good of all. At the end of his video, Jenrick gratuitously offers an irrelevant image which is intended, I infer, to show an immigrant gloating over money he is getting. The only purpose of this is to stir up hatred against immigrants. That is why we need the ECHR. It is also why he is showing himself entirely unfit for office.

Hi Russel, Not sure if you have got to this bit in your A-level politics course yet, but to put your mind at ease we will be having another election. It’s kind of the law. Hope this helps.

This is getting silly now. Leave his kids out of it, and stop blowing things out of proportion. There is bad behaviour amongst some politicians, but this constant pearl clutching at everything undermines trust to an unjustified and dangerous extent. Try reporting some news.

I get that he's no longer an MP but you'd think that these stories would at least mention the *£220,000* worth of gifts and freebies accepted by Boris Johnson over the same period, on top of the more than £6 million he received in political donations

Today is a day of shame for our criminal justice system. The solution is simple: build more prisons and lock up prolific offenders for longer.

The brass neck here is absolutely extraordinary, the hypocrisy weapons grade, the contempt for his target audience palpable & the disingenuousness off the charts… No wonder he’s a front runner to be the next Tory leader.
