Absolutely devastated by this. Criterion Games forever reshaped the industry with both the introduction of RenderWare and Burnout. Relegating the studio to this is an insult to everyone who made this place grow and to all the fans who have supported them along the way
Vice President & General Manager of Battlefield Studios Europe, Rebecka Coutaz, says Criterion will stay as a dedicated, Battlefield studio based on the occasion of Criterion’s 30th anniversary and their new studio's logo which reads "Criterion: A Battlefield Studio."
In a recent interview with IGN, Rebecka left a message pretty clear: "We're not here to talk about the past. We're solely focused on Battlefield."
With this established scope, the studio currently has no plans to include other projects but Battlefield, which closes the door to Need for Speed and Burnout.

I have so many unfinished projects, it's time to finish them 1 by 1. This RX-7 is one of them. It's supposed to be a early 2000's C1/Circuit Runner car that is very Porsche influenced.
