When marketing asks for a page builder, it often wants one thing: to stop waiting for a developer. One team waited 5–6 hours to change a line of text. A block library built with the site gives the same freedom, and new pages stay on brand.

Many teams choose a page builder for a sound reason: they are tired of waiting hours for a developer to change a sentence on their own website. The reason holds up. A page builder is an expensive way to act on it.
WordPress already ships with the block editor. We build each site from a library of blocks designed for the brand, and the marketing team uses the same library to build new pages long after launch, including layouts nobody designed at the start, without waiting for us.
Our new article explains how to put a maintainable site and marketing's freedom to publish into the same rebuild brief, and how to test both before you accept the site.

Thanks to DesignRush for the recognition, and to the Osom team for the work behind it.
Last weekend, we got the Osom crew together in Poland’s Świętokrzyskie region, with quad biking on the agenda.
It was good to get outside and spend some time together away from work. Here’s a little of what that looked like.
Thanks for the weekend, team! 🙌
“Caching is on” doesn’t tell you which layer is working. A browser hit can avoid the whole stack. Redis saves repeated database work. OPcache only avoids PHP recompilation.
Our guide maps the full WordPress cache stack.

25-year-old US B2B news platform. Google flagged it slow. Mobile LCP 5.5s
We ran a 60-page audit before touching code. 8 weeks later: LCP 2.49s - into Google's "Good" Core Web Vitals zone. 15× more readers on fast pages, +40% traffic, 0 URLs in GSC's poor LCP bucket. No rewrite.
