Today, I had the honor of attending the Women and Girls in STEM event alongside some awesome other woman scientists at FSU, FAMU, and TSC. Thank you, @fsugradschool for inviting me! I had a blast talking with the next generation of woman and non-binary scientists! @lsifsu @FSU
Milestone achieved: my undergraduate dream of creating my own observational *task* ā I blended the counting span task (Case et al., 1982) and the Free Recall with Training Task (Moely et al., 1992) to characterizeā¦ š§µ
ā¦ childrenās ability to learn and apply a decompositional addition strategy for remembering āeven more dots than before!ā. This is where strategic memory meets math learning!

The irony of lowering my stress while writing an abstract about stress regulation is not lost on me.
