Today’s marathon oversight hearing on the @DCDGS had over 50 public witnesses. I heard residents’ testimonies regarding building maintenance, school modernization, environmental safety, and the payment of contractors.

Such a pleasure visiting @RobertWhite_DC ‘s office and advocating for the #SaveGoodFood Act which will help #DC families and businesses. I think his staff enjoyed the rescued pastries from @seyloubakery! @DCCK @NoFoodLeftBhind @EatOrToss
Reps from @DCFoodRecovery and @DCFoodPolicy visited @JackEvansWard2 staff with tasty rescued bread from @seyloubakery to show them the amazing food that is donated to hungry #dc families. The #savegoodfood Act will help more food go to those in need.
