We spent two entire years united against one thing and one thing only on the right. One issue that we all saw eye to eye on was that Vivek cannot win. Then in the 11th hour right before the election a huge swarm of people suddenly pulls a highly coordinated about-face and all collectively say “erm awktually we gotta vote for the Vivek guys.” Nothing to see here. Nothing fishy at all about one big unified push like that. Keep on scrolling.

10 years ago an Indian being elected governor of a US state, which is the size of a small country, would've been unfathomable to them.

He published a whole book explaining his Libertarian Global Brahmin Oligarchy based in America, during his 2023 campaign.
Where he slipped up and shared his fantasy of using Plato's Republic as a Communist Blueprint for Indian Upper Caste Global Rule of America, which he viewed as the Reincarnation of the Roman Empire.
It's impossible to believe what he said, until you read his 2023 "Nation of Victims".
Of course, he couches it all within a whole "Muh Global Meritocracy" argument he borrowed from Economist (eCommunist) editor Adrian Wooldridge (his favourite Libertarian author - with Vivek openly saying he is a Libertarian Conservative even at the RNC).
But that doesn't erase what he actually wrote, including bizarrely loving passages of his life as an Upper Caste Indian - he spent every Summer of his childhood in India. It is just barely papered over, and anyone who reads it for themselves will come away shocked by how anti-American & Indian Upper Class Supremacist it is.
He writes longingly about the way Lower Caste Indians had to sneak past the cows into the Back Door of the Temple. About how he was born into greatness "above kings", and how everybody in India knows it and simply views his superiority as "a proper understanding of the world".

Gen Z overwhelmingly vote for more radical candidates on both sides of the aisle.
The Left has embraced these radical candidates and has made them mainstream, DSA is a good example.
The Right has not, leading to a large disconnect with the right wing youth and the party. Something the Left doesn’t have to worry about nearly as much.
It will eventually lead to trouble for the GOP if they continue to not get the youth and older voters on the same page.
I liked Fishback, but it was clear he wasn’t going to lock down the largest and most reliable voting bloc (Boomers) in the primary.
I think he has a bright future in politics if he chooses to keep going. The time just hasn’t arrived yet and his best path forward would most likely be a congressional seat.
