In just the first 72 hours since Gemini 4 Argon launched, we processed ~25 trillion tokens, the demand for intelligence is incredible and still under appreciated!
We are hosting our first "Bench Summit" to bring together people excited about pushing the frontier of benchmarking, model evals, and more.
Great benchmarks are a gating function for model progress, lots to do here!

A conversation with Sergey Brin, @joshwoodward, @tulseedoshi, and @melvinjohnsonp about Gemini 4 Argon, how we got here, and the path ahead!
Here is the YouTube link as well! youtube.com/watch?v=Jh6mgf9M…
Today we are rolling out Gemini 4 Argon globally in the Gemini API, to Pro + Ultra in Gemini App, and Ultra subs in Antigravity!
Argon is a huge step forward for Gemini, and a labor of love. This model has been battle tested by over 100,000 people at Google over the last month, with so much new innovation, ambition, and hard work baked into this release. The team has been heads down over the last 6 months working to make this possible across the stack (research, infra, safety, eng, etc).
We rolled the model out to cyber defenders as part of our fairwind program and early access customers over the last 2 weeks, it has been amazing to see and talk to folks who are now using this model daily. Seeing the models writing capability, raw knowledge and persistence for coding, paired with new features like 1M token output when the model needs to work more has gotten me even more excited about our path ahead.
This is just the start of the Gemini 4 era. As you saw with 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, and 3.8 Flash, our iteration speed with Gemini is fast : ) Now with Gemini 4 Argon to work from, I am cannot wait to see the progress continue, and most importantly see what this new model enables for the world.
This is such a special moment in the arc of technology, as millions of people everyday tackle problems they could never have thought possible before. Gemini 4 Argon was built to help you tackle the hardest problems. I have personally felt this spark with Argon and hope you do too. Onwards!!
So many great examples of Argon in action already from inside Google, our customers, and partners:

nearly anything is possible in the digital world with AI, and soon this will be true of the physical world (also largely due to AI)
Nano Banana 2.1 is here! 🍌
It’s a nice update for image generation and editing customers, comes with higher quality images, lots of bug fixes from previous models, and a new lower price point!
Available in the API, AI Studio, and Gemini app!
So much work by so many folks across Google to create this model, it is amazing to see the progress here, and just the start! Can't wait for more folks to use Gemini 4 Argon.

2027 is the year we will see at scale autonomous revenue (profit?) generating agents / mini-companies
already happening at sub scale today with lots of rough edges
Introducing Gemini 3.8 Flash and Flash-Lite TTS, our new SOTA text to speech model with:
- a new voice design experience
- 2,000+ production ready voices
- voice replication
- support for 100 languages
- voice remixing (soon)
- #1 spot on Hume AI's voice benchmarks
and more!!
incredibly excited about all our audio model progress, from TTS, to Live, to Lyria, to Translate, to Transcribe, our suite of audio models keeps getting better for everyone.
if you are in SF, join us tomorrow for a first of it's kind audio experince: rsvp.withgoogle.com/events/g…
all of this, along with a new experince in @GoogleAIStudio, with a lower cost than our previous 3.1 Flash TTS model!

if you are building a product using AI, you should be spending >25% of your time making benchmarks and trying to get the model labs to care about said benchmarks
easiest path to accelerate your progress as a company
