Every now and then I gotta drop this song I wrote for my wifey. She’s an amazing woman, an amazing mother, and an amazing person to go through life with. Love you, darlin. #newcountry #countrymusic #lovesong #romanticsong #newcountrymusic

George Strait and Keith Whitley part two. One of my favorite first verses in all of country music. #classiccountry #countrymusic #keithwhitley #georgestrait #acoustic

King George Strait’s “Nobody In His Right Mind Would’ve Left Her.” Keith Whitley recorded a brilliant version of this song one year before George did and Dean Dylan, the songwriter, even cut his own version in the early 80’s. Brilliant song and three brilliant versions. It’s an honor to sing it. #classiccountry #georgestrait #keithwhitley #countrymusic #acoustic

“Kiss An Angel” via the blues. Could never and would NEVER try and replace Charley’s version…just giving this amazing song a nod in a slightly different genre. Mr. Pride brought the heat! #classiccountry #theblues #bluesmusic #oldschool #traditionalcountry

Still one of my favs with my buddy Bigg Vinny #classiccountry #realcountry #traditional #newcountry #hank

Groovy Merle Part 2 #classiccountry #merlehaggard #realcountry #acoustic #outlawcountry

Everybody’s acting like AI songs are about to end music. And in a sense, they’re right. Meanwhile bots are out here making millions while actual humans writing real songs are still getting paid in pocket change. And to really drive the nail in the coffin, at the moment, most folks can’t even tell the difference between AI and human music. The tech stole the soul. Therefore, I think the Renaissance of live and imperfect music is just beginning, and I’m here for it.

Gotta say, I’m enjoying Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson in “Brothers.” Great show. The whole cast is killer. Definitely worth a watch in my opinion.

One of my favorite Keith Whitley songs of all time. Absolute legend of a song. It’s such a joy to sing it. #countrymusic #realcountry #classiccountry #oldschoolmusic #keithwhitley
