Hon. Abba Atiku Abubakar, son of former Vice President and 2027 ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, has pledged to work towards delivering Adamawa State, his father’s traditional political stronghold, to President Bola Tinubu and the APC in the 2027 general elections.
Abba made the declaration on Friday at the APC national secretariat in Abuja during a media briefing to unveil the Haske Bola Tinubu Organisation (HBTO), a political mobilisation group he founded to promote Tinubu’s re-election.
Addressing the political implications of backing his father’s political rival, Abba maintained that his decision was based on personal conviction and his assessment of the administration’s policies, rather than family ties or personal interests.
“Any government that comes up with policies, and if those policies, to me, are going to help the people, I’ll join them. And I don’t think antagonising my brother is the issue. I believe in the current regime and the current government’s policies and reforms that are taking place,” he said.
He identified the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), road infrastructure projects, increased allocations to state governments through the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) and economic relief programmes as some of the initiatives informing his support for Tinubu.

This whole P-Square saga is extremely depressing for me.. As a family oriented/family first kind of person, it breaks my heart💔.. And perhaps the only person that could have brought them together (their Mom) is no longer with us.. One thing I will appeal to everyone to do is to avoid taking sides.. It seems like whatever is going on comes from a place of deep hurt.. I think one way or the other they’ve all been hurt in their individual ways.. Perhaps only the 3 of them know the root cause.. If you love them, please continue to pray for them.. If not, then kindly look away.. I believe that one day they will find each other again.. When that day comes they will shed hot tears.. Because the time/opportunities/achievements lost, can never be regained.. But at least they’ll still have each other.. I wish them well..
