Throwback to the last time Ohio State and USC met back in 2017. Heroic effort by Ohio State's defense against Sam Darnold and the USC offense.
Not to be forgotten CJ and Tommy have another brother, Chad who tragically passed away from cancer in 2015 at the age of 5. Family has been through a lot.
Lets not forget the Buckeyes have a stud commited at Quarterback in Brady Edmunds. @bradyedmunds9
Another fun fact about Fahey. Despite growing up in California he grew up an Ohio State fan. His parents met while attending the university.
With Luke Fahey likely set to start at QB he joins CJ Stroud and Julian Sayin as recent QBs from California to start at QB. Guys like Jim Karsatos and Austin Moherman have started in the past. Brady Edmunds is the Buckeyes glass of 2027 commit and is also from California.
Let's not forget about Tavien St. Clair. He could still be a dude for the Buckeyes. Enjoy some of his highlights from high school.
Ohio State commit Jaden Carey is a beast! One of the most underrated players in the country @JadenCarey22
It hasn’t happened in a while but Ohio State has solid history with backup QBs. 2014 with JT Barrett and Cardale Jones is a golden example. The times Braxton Miller got hurt and Kenny Guiton another. Troy Smith took over for an injured Justin Zwick too.
Shoutout to Connor Hawkins. Man hit 2 big field goals in a game the Bucks won by 4. Huge credit to him.
I would say this was a really good choice. Ironically enough Timmons was committed to Indiana prior to Florida State.
BREAKING: Elite 2026 CB Jay Timmons has Flipped his Commitment from Florida State to Ohio State, he tells me for @rivals
The 5’11 185 CB had been Committed to the Seminoles since June
He’s ranked as the No. 2 CB in the ’26 Class (per Rivals)

The Charlie Becker stuff comes back around. Great kid and great player. Best of luck to him as long as it’s not against Ohio State. Good Game Indiana. You have a great team and coach.
Charlie Becker found Ryan Day right after the game to apologize for his O-H-F-U last year on stage at the Big Ten Championship game.
Charlie's dad Dave played for Ohio State in the 90's @nbc4i
Becker along with Isaiah Jones and Carter Smith grew up Ohio State fans. Who are some Ohio natives or Ohio State fans that Ohio State missed on that you wish Ohio State got? Drop your thoughts below.
Facing Ohio State means more to Indiana's Charlie Becker, whose dad played for the Buckeyes, and painted the Ohio State helmet stripes in his sons' bedroom.
"We were die-hard. ... That was a dream: to play for them or play against them."
