Genuinely surprised to learn how little it was said in the classic era.
Which also, once again, makes clear the lack of effort in the HIT/Nitrogen eras
Never realised how much the original looks like N-N-Nurse Gladys Emmanuel. “I thought her Y-Y-Yorkshire Puddings were fine as they w-were, G-Granville!”
What I wouldn't give to see this in person...

The early characters, yes, and a few bland TV series characters that only two people care about. But more or less every character post RWS# 9 has a preservation equivalent - Awdry was deliberately trying to encourage readers to visit them and support the heritage movement
One of the best voices in the previous era - great move bringing him back!
Don’t worry, turns out it was just a timber barge with white flags put at either end

Question I've often wondered, and think I have had someone try and give me a reason but I've forgotten...
Why were the TUGS voice actors never credited?
I can't think of any other show where they didn't give at least a name credit to the lead performers.
Still my runaway favourite series. Takes all the best elements of Series 1 and refines them, whilst faithfully adapting some of The Rev. Awdry's best material - some great story arcs throughout. Happy 40th Aniversary!

However, over the last few days I've seen issues in the "group of people" who gate-kept those photos, and I wanted to give some clarification.
My clarification is in no way made to be biased, it's more of a direction of focus.
I want to be optimistic, given how good the original was. But I feel there's a lot of work needed to make it work, if the characters are much the same as they were in their teens it will just feel sad.
