A Ugandan citizen was brutally attacked by a large crowd on the streets of Durban today. He sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital, our thoughts and prayers are with him for a swift recovery. If these targeted attacks against our citizens continue, we must consider reciprocal actions, such as Boycotting South African businesses like MTN.

The answer is Roberto Mancini who played for Leicester City and later won the Premier League with Manchester City in 2011/12.
But once City eventually get their titles wiped, Mancini’s Premier League winning CV is going straight into the recycling bin.
Which leaves Mikel Arteta as the only manager who actually played in the Premier League and then went on to win it as a manager.
So, technically, Arteta might be the last man standing.

Today in Soroti, I engaged key leaders and local government stakeholders across the Teso and Karamoja sub-regions, including RDCs, LCV Chairpersons, CAOs, and Commercial Officers on implementing the GROW Business Plan Competition. I underscored our commitment to transparency, integrity, and fairness, issuing a clear warning against any extortion or exploitation of our youth. Participation in this programme is 100% free, and no applicant should ever be asked to pay to access or benefit from this initiative.
I call upon all local leaders to actively champion this vision within their communities. It is critical that leadership shares accurate eligibility criteria, guides prospective applicants through the process, and immediately reports any instances of extortion or fraud to the Ministry and security authorities. Transparency and direct support at the community level remain essential to maintaining public trust.
Furthermore, Commercial Officers and Focal Point Officers must actively assist young entrepreneurs during our upcoming sub-regional Hands-on Business Clinics. By directly integrating youth into these interactive sessions, we will ensure that these crucial resources reach the driven entrepreneurs they were created to transform, ultimately fueling inclusive, long-term economic growth across Uganda.

Spent another wonderful weekend alongside my fellow Members of Parliament, dedicated leaders, and passionate fans from across the country, once again proving that sports remain our ultimate unifier! My heartfelt appreciation goes to the MPs, local leaders, organizers, and incredible supporters who made the atmosphere electric.
Congratulations to Lango Province on a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Bunyoro Province in Hoima, securing a well-deserved place in the FUFA Drum final!
Commendations to the Bunyoro team and fans for their incredible effort, resilience, and sportsmanship throughout the match. As we look ahead to the final, we celebrate not just football, but the continued triumph of youth talent, empowerment, and regional unity.
John Obi Mikel labels Arsenal as the cheats, not Manchester City.
“They won the league through corner kicks. They cheated their way to winning the Premier League.”
“The way they won games was illegal.”
“I would never discredit the players of Man City and what they achieved..."
