Aye, I spent some time knocking up some notes on this boost earlier. I think it's worth it. England have absolutely breezed through their World Cup qualifying group, winning their first seven games without conceding a goal. This is an unblemished record I think they will be keen to keep intact when they travel to take on an Albania side they dispatched with relative ease 2-0 at Wembley in March. Albania didn’t muster a single shot on target in this previous meeting at Wembley. Pickford actually broke Peter Shilton’s record for most consecutive England clean sheets against Serbia with nine and I anticipate Pickford making it double digits in another routine win for Thomas Tuchel’s side. Although they have managed to secure second place in the qualifying section, Albania’s success has been more down to their stubborn defence than their attacking capabilities, scoring only seven goals across their seven matches.
