When I’m starting a new web project, I almost always reach for @laravel. When I’m building a desktop application, I usually reach for C# with @AvaloniaUI. And yes, sometimes that means a C# desktop app talking to a Laravel API. I actually really like that combination. That’s not to say you can’t build desktop applications with something like @nativephp. You absolutely can. But for the kinds of desktop software I enjoy building, C# tends to fit the way I want to work. I don’t really see programming languages as teams you have to pick between. Different tools feel right for different problems. Sometimes for no other reason than, “I want to build this using that.” That said, PHP will always have my heart. It’s still my favorite programming language. It’s where I started, and it still feels like home.

PHP defenders have a point. Nobody files a CVE against a language nobody runs in production.

One of the best conferences I’ve been to. Seriously. Great conversations, even better people. So glad I got to experience it with Petr and Tomáš. Thanks @_christinacodes for inviting me, and huge congrats to @zenorocha and the entire @resend team on hitting 5 million users. What a milestone! Now onto the after-party 🍻 #ResendForward

I think we've discovered another critical vulnerability: CVE-2026-BURNOUT: AppSec Professional Exhaustion Severity: Critical (CVSS 10.0) Description: A vulnerability affecting security professionals exposed to a continuous stream of critical RCEs, zero-days, emergency patches, and Friday afternoon disclosures. Impact: Sleep deprivation, excessive caffeine consumption, and an inability to enjoy weekends. Attack vector: Reading security advisories. Affected versions: All AppSec professionals, regardless of experience. Mitigation: No known patch. Air-gapping may delay the inevitable. Total system collapse remains a possibility. 🔥
