For people who actively freak about about my merch & accuse me of grifting all this fortune, when I’m just a self-taught painter who fell in love with graphic design & began making merch at others’ requests & I thought “let’s give this a go”— these are my quarterly earnings. Averages out to around $3 a day. Livin high on the hog, alright. 🥲 This isn’t AT ALL to complain about the tremendous support I’ve received since my collection opened, nor is this out of self-pity. This is a literal receipt of my reality to remove folks from my shaft. Aside from my merch, I make droplets on various apps per month, except this one. I participate in mutual aid & my community has been immensely helpful & supportive of me, my work, & my goals. I’d love to be able to pay the bills with my merch one day, and I gotta start somewhere, and this is me doing that. So please, resolve whatever hangups you have about your own lives. And do it elsewhere. I’m a random bitch out here trying to make it just like you. You don’t have to like what I do, but you also don’t have to resort to molecularly dissecting, mocking, trivializing, & shitting on what I do. Instead of mocking me when I ask for support due to the need to improve my living situation, take comfort in the fact that nothing fucking matters and float onto something else! siiiigh my thumbs are tired.
