Zechariah 12:10 says Yahweh himself was pierced. How did the prophet intend his readers to understand this imagery, and what do we make of the passage being reapplied to the death of Jesus, Yahweh's Son? This episode explores the meaning of Yahweh's piercing, the Jewish messianic reading of the passage, and how the Gospel of John and Revelation reused it for completely new purposes. youtu.be/dXc-6c9vT8M

Does Jesus Christ have two natures: a divine nature he has always possessed and a human nature he assumed at his birth? In other words, is Jesus 100% God and 100% man? Romans 1:3 states that Jesus was born from the seed of David according to the flesh. We will look closely at Romans 1:3 to discuss the birth of the Son of God, which has nothing to do with a preexistent Son coming down from heaven and assuming human nature. youtu.be/Cn44f1SydQU

Origen of Alexandria was a famous Middle Platonist who introduced the idea of the Son's eternal generation, but did he believe in the doctrine of the Trinity? This week's episode examines what Origen believed and taught about the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In short, no, Origen was not a trinitarian, and he was highly criticized by later trinitarians for his beliefs. He was a Platonically influenced, two-stage logos subordinationist who believed the true God was the Father alone. youtu.be/K7UUqblAUbM

Rather than teaching the immortality of the soul that separates from the body at death, the biblical authors taught that the dead are asleep in the grave, awaiting resurrection on the last day. Learn more about the theology of the early Christians in my newest book: amzn.to/47jldOc

What does Jesus mean when he speaks of the preexistent glory that he possessed with the only true God before the world existed? How does wisdom christology shed much-needed light on this disputed passage? This week's episode explores John 17:5 and reveals that it has nothing to do with conscious preexistence at all. youtu.be/lJ7qd4eC0W4

What is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, and why did Jesus say that it was unforgivable? This week’s episode examines the context of the controversy, particularly the accusations hurled at Jesus, who admits to casting out demons by the power of the Spirit. The Father empowered Jesus with the Spirit at his baptism, so to speak against the Spirit is to speak against the Most High God himself. youtu.be/-LcDsseUlsU

This is a key admission by you and it defeats your own Islamic dilemma argument. If the prophet by your own admission is engaging with John and reassigning attributes to Allah from John’s Jesus, it proves Muhammad knew exactly what he’s doing and the whole Islamic dilemma is DEFEATED. Second - the reason why the Qur’anic author re assigns these divine titles to Allah clearly is because of lines of John are ripe for and subject to Trinitarian abusive eisegesis and amount to ambiguous verses that Trinitarians exploited as argued by @OneGodPodcast. This is why the Quran tells people to follow the muhkam over he ambiguous when it comes to the kitab of God.
It proves you are biblically illiterate and read into John's Gospel your erroneous assumptions about Deity. This is eisegesis, not exegesis. But seeing who you manhandle your own Quran I am not surprised seeing you doing this to the Bible. For John, this statement affirms the perfect, inseparable unity between the Father and the Son since the Father's life is the Son's life, a life he had prior to creation. Read John 1:1-4. Moreover, your prophet stole Jesus' words in John 5:21, 25, 28-29, and attributed them to your god in Q. 22:6-7, proving that even your prophet realized that Jesus claimed the prerogatives which only God possesses. Enjoy: That is because Allah, He is the Truth, and it is He Who gives life to the dead, and it is He Who is Able to do all things. And surely, the Hour is coming, there is no doubt about it, and certainly, Allah will resurrect those who are in the graves. S. 22:6-7 Hilali-Khan His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, It is He Who gives life and causes death; and He is Able to do all things. S. 57:2 Hilali-Khan Al-Haqq: The Truly Real The Truth, the Real, the Really-existing, He whose existence and divinity are true, the One who creates according to the requirements of wisdom, justice, right, rightness, the Necessarily-existing by His own Essence, He whose existence is undeniable. Every reality exists from His essence and nothing has any intrinsic reality except Him. Al-Haqq is one of the Ninety-Nine Names. “That is because Allah – He is the Truth, and what you call upon besides Him is falsehood Allah is the All-High, the Most Great.”(31:29) “On that Day Allah will pay them in full what is due to them, and they will know that Allah is the Clear Truth.” (24:25) “That is because Allah is the Real and gives life to the dead and has power over all things and the Hour is coming without any doubt and Allah will raise up all those in the graves.” (22:6)… Al-Hayy: The Living Ever-Living, i.e. Deathless. Al-Hayy is one of the Ninety-Nine Names. “Allah, there is no god but Him, the Living, the Self-Sustaining.” (2:253) “Put your trust in the Living who does not die and glorify Him with praise.” (25:58)… Al-Bâ’ith: The Raiser The Raiser, Resurrector. To re-create, like Mu’id; revive; also to send. The One who Quickens mankind after death. To cause something to be. Al-Ba’ith is one of the Ninety-Nine Names. “Allah will raise up all those in the graves.” (22:7) … Al-Muhyî, Al-Mumît: The One Who Gives Life, The One who Makes Die The Life-Giver or Quickener who makes something alive, to be a living thing; He quickenes him or endues him with life or revives him. He revives the earth with rain and endues with intelligence. Al-Mumit is the One who causes to die. Al-Muhyi and Al-Mumit are two of the Ninety-Nine Names. “How can you reject Allah, when you were dead and then He gave you life, then He will make you die and then give you life again, then you will be returned to Him?” (2:27) (Aisha Bewley, The Divine Names: aishabewley.netlify.app/name…) Now contrast this with John's Gospel: “For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will… Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself… Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His [the Son] voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.” John 5:21, 25-26, 28-29 “‘This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.’ The Jews then complained about Him, because He said, ‘I am the bread which came down from heaven.’ And they said, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, “I have come down from heaven”?’ Jesus therefore answered and said to them, ‘Do not murmur among yourselves. No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day… Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.’” John 6:39-44, 54 “Jesus said to her, ‘Your brother will rise again.’ Martha said to Him, ‘I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.’ Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?’ She said to Him, ‘Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.’” John 11:23-27 “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’” John 14:6 “I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.” Revelation 1:18 “And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: “I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first… Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. “’” Revelation 2:18-19, 22-23 So your god takes Jesus' claims and prerogatives and ascribes them to himself, proving that Jesus claimed what even your prophet admitted are statements that only God can make.

Within the Bible, the God of Israel shares his unique privileges, prerogatives, titles, name, and even his glory with his human agents. Some readers of Isaiah, however, are convinced that Yahweh never shares his glory with anyone at all. I explore how the God of Israel glorifies his human agents, including Jesus. youtu.be/eKjnrqrW-hU
