Apparently Level Infinite has removed the malicious file from the string!! NO OFFICIAL WORD has been released by either Level Infinite or Shift Up just yet, so still exercise caution! You can see the GitHub repository for updates on the matter: gist.github.com/MotherSphere…

If anyone has more questions, here is how to Identify if you got affected: <drive you installed Nikke>\NIKKE\Launcher\intl_service\debug.log search for "k2f_chan" (without the quotes) Recommended Solution: if you do not find it, uninstall the PC client and wait for official response/confirmation of fix by SU if you do find it, run virus scans to remove the malicious browser DLLs it registers, or reimage Windows if you want to be extra safe, and then cycle all passwords stored in the browser and for accounts logged into in the browser Manual DLL removal (for Chrome): C:\Users[username]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\PlatformExperienceHelper[some GUID]\platform_experience_helper.dll That file path will also be registered in the system registry and needs to be cleaned from there

Everyone, this is a serious issue: Apparently Nikke PC client has been compromised by a supply chain attack! So please, don’t use it and only use the mobile version until Shift Up announces something. Altros has pointed this out, share this if you can!
