If you find it difficult or annoying to navigate between channels and Teams in @MicrosoftTeams could you up-vote this: microsoftteams.uservoice.com… #citrt #citn #microsoftTeams
I know I say this often, but I recommend the book, “Leadership and Self Deception”. It goes over a lot about how to communicate effectively and how to hear and be heard. I’m reading it again because it is easy to forget. – at Rio Rancho, NM

There have been several tweets that help me see what it means to be feared, hated, and judged purely by the color of your skin. It is eye opening and changes how I think. Thank you to those sharing in a way that invites understanding and change. – at Rio Rancho, NM
I’ll be honest, I don’t know what to think. Everyone seems angry and I never want to side with angry people. With COVID-19, media often contradicts other media about the same data while somehow still being in line with their audience’s existing views. I just want information. – at Rio Rancho, NM

But really, there’s a difference between communicating to help or improve people’s decision making and to offend or virtue signal. There’s a way to communicate that invites listening and invites change. Being rude to people you disagree with invites them to get defensive.

Heard from the NM Governor today. Despite scientists and doctors warning us of the health risks of wearing a cloth mask, she is making the mandatory. (I realize there are benefits for some, which led to the change, but the health risks to the wearer still exist) – at Rio Rancho, NM

I think the current pandemic is complex, and there is not a single solution for everyone. I don’t know the solution, but please don’t virtue signal over choosing shelter in place as your solution. It ignores the mental health, abuse, non-covid physical health, etc. issues. – at Rio Rancho, NM

To be clear: I think social distancing is good, washing hands is good, caring for people and no touch transactions are good, but the CDC numbers of COVID-only deaths combined with the sudden drop in pneumonia deaths don’t justify *some* of the actions being taken.

I recognize the CDC and WHO numbers will change as we get more accurate testing, or as more hospitals mis-diagnose, but I’m not planning on jumping on the anti-vaxxer or politicized-solution narratives. I’m open to reading from practicing doctors, not news anchors.
