May I suggest using @pablius's @OneSimpleApi for optimising images via an API call? I just swapped out a more (/too) expensive service on a project & I much prefer the optimised images that OneSimpleApi's Image Manager (onesimpleapi.com/docs/images) creates. Better file size & quality
