🔑 Key Issue Pick Up Ive loved this book since it came out. New X-Men Annual 2001 "The Man from Room X" follows Cyclops, Wolverine, Emma Frost, and Beast to Hong Kong, where an investigation into mutant organ trafficking leads them to John Sublime and his experiments involving stolen mutant powers. At the center of the conspiracy is Xorn, a mysterious mutant with a miniature star contained within his head. FUN FACT: This was Marvel's first widescreen-format comic, requiring readers to turn the book sideways. The unusual layout allowed Leinil Francis Yu to tell the story through cinematic, landscape-oriented panels. 🔑 First appearance of Xorn. 🔑 First appearance of John Sublime. 🔑 First team appearance of X-Corporation's Hong Kong branch, featuring Domino and Risque. 🔑 Marvel's first widescreen-format comic.
