Jackson Blake being underrated once again.
17 points in 17 games. On pace for 84 in 84 games. Oh, and it's only his third NHL season.
You win some, you lose some. It's all about the response after a loss.
The Hurricanes are still 12-3-2 on the season. Get back in the win column Tuesday on Long Island against the Islanders.
The Carolina Hurricanes' winning & point game streak will be snapped, as they lose to the Nashville Predators 4-1.
Pyotr Kochetkov's 10-game winning streak also snapped.
Jackson Blake with the lone goal.
The Canes are 12-3-2. Up next is Long Island on Thursday.
Despite the .786 SV% (11 saves on 14 shots), Pyotr Kochetkov has played well keeping the Hurricanes in the game. None of the goals are on him.
Its unfortunate that Saros woke up again against the Canes & has been the main reason for it being 3-1. That said, there's still time
Edstrom makes it 3-1 Nashville as he tips a Josi shot. Gut check time with 14:20 left and down 2 for the Canes
The Hurricanes get one on the board thanks to Jackson Blake. However, Nashville does get another as well.
Shots are 18-12 Carolina
Huge third period coming up as this 2-1 Predators after 2
Canes to the PP as Stamkos is called for tripping. Huge chance for the Hurricanes to possibly tie it up. 5:32 left in the second
Välimäki with two more blocks to ruin more chances for Nashville. The Finnish defenseman is doing it all in the last few minutes
#Canes GOAL 🚨
The Hurricanes are on the board as Jackson Blake picks up the rebound and beats Saros. We have a game as it's now 2-1
