Just got back from ICAN tutorial, resting. Let me drop small gist here. Finished NYSC late September, and the last 3 weeks have been crazy endless job hunting, virtual interviews, writing tests upon tests, and messing up GT assessments at different firms… 🧵👇

The moment you realize your relationship has officially transitioned to FaceTime, voice notes, and calculating time zones. 😭. Everywhere good machala
Taylor Jasmine, watching you leave for the USA today broke my heart in ways words can’t explain. 🥺❤️‍🩹 Having you here with me in Nigeria made me so happy, and now the distance feels so heavy. I wish I could hold you a little longer. You may be far from my eyes, but you’ll never be far from my heart. Until I hold you again, my love. 💔

Not going to lie! The Coastal Road is a lifesaver for most of us that Lekki Road has thrown us into depression with heavy traffic! For the past 4 days I had a shoot at Ibeju Lekki and I just linked up with the Coastal Road from VI, and a journey that normally takes 2–3–4 hours depending on the Devilish traffic takes me 30-40minutes Max! Straight road! 0 traffic! That’s one of the few positive things about this Government! Nonsense!

Person with CFA is saying they need to get serious 😭. Imagine passing one of the most brutal professional qualifications in global finance and still feeling like you're slacking. Corporate pressure really makes high achievers feel incomplete.
I need to get serious with my life😔😒

Before sending 200k for nails, please confirm. Are we paying for acrylic or acquiring equity in the beauty industry? Because that budget looks like a quarterly capital expenditure not personal care😭👀
E reach to ask 🤣🤣🤣

God please, put me in a workplace where my salary speaks louder than any LinkedIn bio. No noise, no social media validation, just pure high-value work and heavy compensation in peace. Amen.

As someone in 9-5 you should not stay on one employment and one salary or position for a maximum of 4yrs. If after two years you aren’t seeing the light in the tunnel, please look for your own light. Don’t wait till the employer quenches yours before you do the needful. You should be seeing a level of growth every 2-3yrs.

Two years is more than enough time to evaluate an employer's growth trajectory for you. If there is no progression or financial adjustment, moving on isn't impatience it's risk management.

High performance shouldn't be rewarded with extra workload. "Better work" means strategic tasks that elevate your skill set, not dumping the department's backlog on your desk because you're reliable. Proper management builds people it doesn't exhaust them.
A good manager will not always give you more work. They give you better work, clearer feedback and room to grow. If you have one, learn from them, give them positive feedback and work towards becoming one yourself.

Bruh, can you people just wait till December? Stop adding to my end of year workload nau 😭
Truly, HR plans their week, and employees scatter, cos tell me how there's a potential termination request in my email this morning, because someone decided to harass their male colleague at work this early morning. Anyhoo, DC way! CCTV na water for here.

People who have secured better offers aren't going to delay their careers for HR's end-of-year schedule. Q4 resignations aren't sudden they are the result of months of interviews.Once a firm gives a superior valuation and clear growth path, the exit letter drops immediately. 💯
