📷 TI-Z’S FIRST TOTALLING CENTRE RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT UPDATE 📷
Transparency International Zambia (TI-Z) is monitoring 151 constituency totalling centres across the country to track the submission of results from polling stations.
📷 As of 10:00 hours this morning, only 80 constituency totalling centres had opened and begun announcing polling station results. This represents 53% of the totalling centres being monitored.
📷 So far, results from only 803 polling stations have been submitted and announced, representing overall progress of 14%.
The highest progress was recorded in:
📷 Magoye West – 61%
📷 Mwembezhi East – 55%
📷 Lumezi North – 54%
📷 Chembe – 53%
📷 Dundumwezi – 52%
All other monitored constituencies recorded progress below 50%.
📷 TI-Z cautions political parties and other stakeholders against declaring themselves winners, as no constituency totalling centre being monitored has completed the compilation and announcement of results from all its polling stations.
📷 TI-Z will continue monitoring the process and sharing updates as the submission and announcement of polling station results at constituency totalling centres progresses.

Why is the President, @HHichilema, mocking people who thought they would need VPNs to circumvent an internet shut during this election period 😅?
How is your experience with internet connectivity thus far?

🚨 Corruption is blocking access to health care and education in Africa
Whether it's in budgeting, procurement, or frontline service delivery, corruption in public services hits the poorest the hardest—especially women, girls, and marginalised communities.
A new publication by @anticorruption dives into how this is happening across DRC, Ghana, Madagascar, Rwanda, and Zimbabwe, based on corruption risk assessments by TI national chapters.
