OpenTable Tech EU

And we're done! Thanks to everyone that spoke to us at #siliconmilkroundabout today. We especially enjoyed chatting to Jill who has been an OpenTable customer since 2004 and knows one of our colleagues! 🤯 If you missed us, here are our roles 😋🙏 tech.opentable.co.uk/posts/w…

We start our sixth annual hackathon tomorrow. 🧑‍💻 A European team won it last year and came third the year before – big thanks to two of last year's champs James and Carla who gave a brown bag today on "how to win a hackathon". Very tongue in cheek of course 😉🏆⭐

Last week we concluded our fourth annual global hackathon, this time virtual. It was by far our most successful year for European engineers who worked on four of the top five hacks. We can't wait to see many of these brilliant ideas live on @OpenTable.

OpenTable and KAYAK's London offices came to a partial standstill yesterday as we joined forces for a Sports Day in Regents Park. A great time was had by all and congratulations to the victorious light blue team! 🏅🏃‍♀️🥤

Congratulations to our winning team and everyone that took part! Full results are now live! sites.google.com/opentable.c… – at Hackney, London

Our OpenTable UK Shoreditch Pub Scavenger Hunt (snappy title) is underway! Good luck teams!

I was lucky enough to be the second person to eat at our #ediblemaplondon map that has just opened at King's Cross, London. If you're nearby stop and eat - it's one day only! – at Camden Town, London

And now @alex_lobera is talking to us about Design Systems in React 🔥🔥

Great talk on Design-Thinking in the Real World underway at OpenTable London HQ by @paulw_design and @reactgqlacademy 👍

Our second annual Bring Your Kids To Work morning is underway. The engineers 'wrote' a real-life robot script and budding programmers have been traipsing our grid floor tiles to spell H E L L O W O R L D 👋😎👦👧
