The Election Commission of India has responded strongly to the opposition’s petition by filing a Supreme Court affidavit that was unanimously approved by all three Commissioners.
The affidavit rejects the petition’s reliance on a single unverified newspaper report and robustly defends the constitutional safeguards that protect the Chief Election Commissioner.
Making allegations against the ECI and the government is easy. The opposition, however, has submitted no substantial evidence to support its claims and none is expected, because the allegations are all baseless.
It is time to put an end to the farce being played out on the streets of Delhi and other cities under the guise of "protests".

Yeah no shit, the Islamic invasions of India have a "religious narrative"; this was understood by both Muslims and Hindus before and after colonialism.

I analysed who funds Left-liberal civil society:
1. Left-liberal civil society gets 3x as much RW ones (7x if you only count private philanthropy) and outearns total NDA party income 5:1.
2. Aziz Premji, who made his fortune selling trans-fats to Indians, is *by far* the most disproportionate funder of Left-liberal civil society. Literally off-the-charts.
3. While every case of RW orgs receiving CSR funds is well-documented in Left-liberal media (e.g. ONGC/TNM), Left-liberal org funding that is far more pervasive, goes without controversy.
4. Foreign funds disproportionately favor the Left. The only foreign funds the right receives is from diaspora giving.
5. Apart from PSUs, no large company predominantly funds RW civil society.

U.S. Congress’s House Ways and Means Committee, chaired by Jason Smith, is pressing three tax-exempt organisations linked to Neville Roy Singham, citing concerns over their compliance with U.S. congressional oversight and their connections to the CCP. Singham chairs the International Advisory Board of Tricontinental, which includes Indian director Vijay Prashad. Prashad is the nephew of CPI(M) Politburo member Brinda Karat and has publicly celebrated protests led by SFI’s Aishe Ghosh, AISA's Neha Bora and CJP's Dipke. In photos below he is even seen in Sri Lanka as part of the Red-Green alliance. We all know what happened there. Prashad describes himself as an actor. He has collaborated with Naseeruddin Shah on a book called "Delhi's Agony". It had essays on the 2020 Delhi Anti-CAA riots by Shah and Teesta Setalvad among other Modi-critics and anti-Hindutva activists. That explains the sudden fervor for "Sadak Pe Faisla" in certain B-town quarters.
