The King and Queen have visited the recently regenerated Bradford Live, where they joined a reception with local artists and young people who have been supported by @KingsTrust, including alumni Steven Frayne - formerly known as Dynamo - who managed to change all of the WiFi names.
Their Majesties watched
a rehearsal by local pupils of ‘Sing, Dance, Leap’, an education programme run by @Northernballet and @Opera_North across the city.

We absolutely loved watching the @Opera_North performance of #ONMagicFlute last night. Brilliant soloists, chorus and orchestra with amazing sets, lights and costumes. It was fabulous.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me 👏👏 Highly recommend

@Opera_North really enjoyed the Magic Flute tonight. The plot is bonkers, but the music is sublime. Strong performances all round but I particularly liked @SorayaMafi . Brava signora and thanks to all of you for a wonderful evening.

Sad news of the death of the distinguished conductor Elgar Howarth — who premiered Ligeti’s Le Grand Macabre and four operas by Birtwistle, and was principal guest conductor of @Opera_North — at the age of 89.

@Opera_North @RoyalNottingham my third viewing of Britten Midsummer Dream and it gets better each time. Garry Walker's orchestra creates several engaging sound worlds, and the versatility of Johan Engels' set is unbelievable. Great singing too! Esp. from James Laing & Daisy Brown

Thanks to @Opera_North for their super-stylish and beautifully sung, high concept Midsummer Night’s Dream at @TheatreRoyalNew tonight. A stellar cast at the top of their game.

We left the theatre feeling so much better! An effervescent production full of fun and ghostly frolics and yet very slick and professional as one would expect. Don't miss seeing it if you have the opportunity. Well done Opera North!!

Fabulous evening watching @TomCruise in Top Gun: Maverick the way it’s supposed to be watched…😎
On a mahoosively large @GrandTheatreLS1 screen with an unapologetically loud live @opera_north orchestra belting out a stonkingly good soundtrack.👏🏻
