A podium on our Misano debut. We nearly had it 💔 A brilliant start from Mikey, strong pace and a lightning quick pit stop and driver change by the Optimum crew; we thought we had this one in the bag. G was running second in Silver Cup with just over 8 minutes to go, we suffered contact from a Pro car, dropping our No. 5 McLaren to the back of our class, and outside the Top 30 overall. 𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝟭: 𝗣𝟲 [𝘚𝘐𝘓𝘝𝘌𝘙 𝘊𝘜𝘗] G survived the first lap chaos, with Optimum's No. 5 Silver Cup duo gaining four class positions, and 11 overall places in just one hour, in part, thanks to our crew, who performed yet another of their typically impressive pit stops. The sun melted away behind the hillside; the racing action intensified under floodlight, and the No. 5 Optimum McLaren took the chequered flag sixth in Silver Cup, under FCY. We've witnessed Misano at night ✨, now we're ready to take on the day! ☀️ Qualifying for Mikey gets underway at 10:05 local time (CEST), with Race 2 scheduled to go green at 14:30 local time (CEST).
