I called it a whole year ago‼️
Megaspeed CEO Huang Xiaole (黄小乐) aka Alice Huang, a Chinese businesswoman who had a close relationship with Jensen Huang, was found to be a Chinese intelligence asset funneling information to Beijing. President Trump was briefed and took no action.
American spy agencies had gathered striking intelligence. Surveillance of Alice Huang revealed that she had developed a close relationship with Jensen Huang, Nvidia’s chief executive.
The discovery that Beijing was getting reports from someone with direct access to Jensen Huang set off alarms at the White House.
Roughly a year ago, Trump was briefed about the intelligence findings, which have not been previously reported, and chose not to do anything with the information. Trump has been wary of disrupting Nvidia’s chip sales, which are helping to drive the economy and the stock market, and of further complicating the trading relationship with China.
American officials already suspected that Alice Huang was helping China evade constraints on its ability to gain access to advanced AI chips.
But the revelation that she was feeding information directly to Beijing raised more troubling possibilities. And it left questions about whether she could be gleaning information about Nvidia, which as much as any company accounts for the lead the US has maintained in developing cutting-edge AI models.
Jensen Huang has not received a defensive briefing, warnings sometimes given to Americans who are being targeted by foreign intelligence services.
The surveillance of Alice Huang continues, and companies that have been affiliated with her continued this year to purchase Nvidia chips.
When Trump was initially briefed on the intelligence last year, U.S. officials did not believe the Nvidia executive knew that Jensen Huang was gathering information for the Chinese. It is unclear whether intelligence officials have since updated their assessment, but some senior officials inside the Trump administration doubt that Jensen Huang could have remained unaware of what they had concluded was her intel-gathering role for China.
The previous reporting about Alice Huang described her meteoric and somewhat mysterious rise. A Chinese businesswoman and investor, she eventually became a top official with Megaspeed, which the Commerce Department, toward the end of the Biden administration, began to suspect was helping China evade US prohibitions and gain access to the computing power of Nvidia chips.
The US government has been investigating Megaspeed since late 2024, when a Commerce Department official visited its data center in Malaysia and found the site to be suspicious. The Nvidia equipment was still packed in boxes, suggesting it was being shipped in or out rather than installed there.
Singapore has conducted its own investigation into Megaspeed. In 2025, Singaporean authorities brought Alice Huang in for questioning, but subsequently released her.
The Commerce Department investigation into Megaspeed was handed over this year to the Justice Department.
Megaspeed is among the firms in Southeast Asia that buy chips to build data centers and then rent their computing power to companies in China.
Megaspeed is essentially a middle man. It has bought Nvidia chips from Aivres, the US arm of 🇨🇳 Inspur, which has been blacklisted for funneling technology to the Chinese military, though Aivres remains free of sanctions.
Megaspeed has then provided that computing power to Alibaba and other Chinese companies. US officials believe the firm is one piece of a sprawling international effort by Chinese companies to access the chips needed to build and run AI. Investigators suspect that some Nvidia chips acquired by Megaspeed are also finding their way illegally into China.

Beijing’s espionage operations inside America just saw an 88% surge in related national-security cases.
FBI Director Kash Patel told Congress in September that Chinese-linked cases jumped 88% over the prior 18 months (60 of 130 total counterintelligence arrests).
The Trump administration’s FBI is treating China as the top national security threat and is not easing pressure, even amid diplomatic talks.
The FBI is zeroing in on four main vectors:
- Theft of U.S. industrial and tech secrets
- Influence operations targeting politicians
- Co-opting insiders who hold classified information
- Aggressive recruitment of science and technology talent
These are systematic efforts to undercut American innovation, military advantage, and democratic institutions. Open societies face a real choice: protect critical research and institutions without ending legitimate global collaboration.
The numbers show the threat is growing, and so is the response.

We just arrested a Chinese foreign agent at LAX attempting to depart for China.
Wanying Zhang, aka “Heather,” 34, of Irvine, was arrested today by @FBILosAngeles on a federal complaint charging her with acting as an unregistered agent of the People’s Republic of China.
According to the affidavit, Zhang traveled to Seattle in 2025 and, at the direction of PRC officials, surveilled a close relative of a Taiwanese government official, sending photos, videos, and license plate information to those officials.
She coordinated the trip with an associate and used tradecraft to avoid detection. She never notified the Attorney General she was acting for a foreign government, a federal offense.
She will appear in federal court in Los Angeles tomorrow for her initial appearance. Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Iran declares RAF base in England a ‘legitimate target’
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has named RAF Fairford as a legitimate target, after American B-1 bombers flew missions against Iran from the Gloucestershire airfield.
While it’s imperative to wait for additional information to be released regarding the suspects arrested today in connection to the thwarted terror attack on RAF Fairford, it’s worth pointing out that threats against the base were made by Iran earlier this year.

The rumors in Beijing are wild. Something is occurring.
It is rumored that Ren Zhengfei and Meng Wanzhou fell to their deaths on the evening of September 20th! Other rumors also claim...Ren Zhengfei and Meng Wanzhou did not commit suicide, but were murdered, and the order to murder them came from the top leadership of the Chinese Communist Party.
As originally planned, Chinese Communist Party General Secretary Xi Jinping was scheduled to visit the United States on September 24. During this visit, the US would inevitably request the extradition of Ren Zhengfei and Meng Wanzhou to the US for trial, making this a top priority in Sino-US negotiations. At this crucial and sensitive moment, the Chinese authorities would naturally arrange for Ren Zhengfei and Meng Wanzhou to commit suicide.
Of course, the Chinese Communist Party authorities may also arrange for Ren Zhengfei and Meng Wanzhou to fake their deaths. This would both save their lives and deceive the United States, preventing the US from prosecuting them.

‼️ BREAKING: Chinese labs DeepSeek and Moonshot were quietly relaying customer prompts to Claude through fraudulent accounts. Users thought they were using Chinese AI, but were actually getting answers from Claude.
Their customers' sensitive data now is in Anthropic's hands. One user, who is tied to China's military, asked Kimi whether a person tracked across hundreds of CCTV cameras in Chengdu was behaving abnormally. DeepSeek passed along live credentials for a Russian government database, shared by an IT operator handling data from a Defense Ministry-linked agency.
The two Chinese labs relayed customer prompts to Claude through fraudulent accounts and saved the exchanges to train their own models. Moonshot forwarded almost 300,000 customer requests in a single ten-day stretch. DeepSeek flagged users running its models inside coding tools like Claude Code and OpenCode, then routed some of them to Opus.

A dual Chinese-Belgian executive was arrested at Brussels Airport as he was about to board a flight to Beijing. Prosecutors confirmed on 7 September they have held him since that May arrest at Zaventem.
He had a senior research job at BelGaN, a Belgian GaN chipmaker, while also serving as a director of a Chinese firm making the same kind of chips. That company was set up months after he joined BelGaN and was financed by a Chinese investment fund. Prosecutors say he may have transferred trade secrets on GaN production, technology used in EVs, aerospace and military systems. He is in pre-trial detention. He denies the charges.
BelGaN was acquired in 2022 by Hong Kong-registered Chinese investors and went bankrupt in 2024, costing more than 400 jobs. Belgian State Security warns about “mirror companies”: buy a cash-strapped European tech firm, extract the know-how, copy the production in China, then sell the original if possible. A second suspect, identified by Belgian media as BelGaN’s last CEO, is still at large.
This follows the July arrest of a Canadian intern of Chinese origin at NATO’s SHAPE headquarters in Belgium. The question is no longer whether acquisition can hide tech transfer. It is how often that was the point.

🇨🇳 CCP member Pin Ni (倪频), the president of Illinois-based Wanxiang America Corporation — a subsidiary of Hangzhou-based 🇨🇳 Wanxiang Group Corporation (万向集团), has donated thousands of dollars to Democratic Senate candidates.
Ni gave $7,000 to the campaigns of Rep. Chris Pappas (D-NH), Minnesota Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan, Sen. John Hickenlooper (D-Colo.) and former North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper.
While federal law limits individual donations to $3,500 per campaign, Pin gave that amount to both the primary and general election runs for each of the four Democrats’ for a total of $28,000 in contributions. That kept him in compliance with the law.
So far this cycle, Pin has donated $63,000 to sitting senators and candidates, mainly to Democrats — including a pair of unsuccessful Senate contenders: Maine Gov. Janet Mills and Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-Ill.). He also donated $7,000 each to the Democratic Senate nominee from the Land of Lincoln, Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton, as well as retiring Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.)
The most recent donation from Ni, made on Aug 10, went to Pappas — who is favored to keep the seat held by the retiring Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) in Democratic hands.
Pappas currently has a two-percentage point lead over his likely Republican opponent, former Sen. John Sununu, in the latest RealClearPolitics polling average.
🇨🇳 Wanxiang Group Corporation is China’s largest manufacturer of auto parts. Lu Guanqiu (鲁冠球), who founded Wanxiang in 1969, was posthumously recognized by the CCP as an outstanding member in 2021.
After Lu’s death in 2017, control of Wanxiang passed to his son, Lu Weiding (鲁伟鼎), and his son-in-law, Ni, who founded Wanxiang America in 1994.
In 2014, Wanxiang America bought the assets of bankrupt electric car maker Fisker Automotive for $149.2 million. A year earlier, the company snapped up battery maker A123 Systems for $257 million, despite concerns raised by lawmakers who A123 had developed its technology using US government grants.
Lu Weiding described Ni as one of “seven Party Committee members” in a 2018 speech.
In July of this year, Wanxiang Group celebrated the CCP’s 105th anniversary, vowing in a statement that it “listens to the Party, follows the Party’s lead, holds high the banner, and prioritizes Party building.”
Federal immigration law imposes restrictions on those who have “been a member of or affiliated with the Communist or any other totalitarian party.”
Last year, Ni donated thousands of dollars to Democratic gubernatorial candidates Mikie Sherrill in New Jersey and Abigail Spanberger in Virginia, drawing scrutiny.
“The donor, Pin Ni, has an extensive history of assisting the CCP’s political warfare and influence operations upon the US, and of generally aligning with and carrying out party commands.”
* Ni, not Pin as the article seems to have indicated, is the last name of Pin Ni.

US-based Pin Ni (倪频), President of Wanxiang America Corporation — subsidiary of Hangzhou, China-based 🇨🇳 Wanxiang Group (万向集团) — and board member of Wanxiang subsidiary Karma Automotive, is a CCP member.
Ni is described as a CCP member in 2024 and earlier annual reports of 🇨🇳 Wanxiang Qianchao (万向钱潮), a publicly traded subsidiary of Wanxiang Group. Interestingly the “CCP member” description was dropped in Wanxiang Qianchao’s 2025 annual report.
Ni also serves as the chairman of the Chicago chapter of the China General Chamber of Commerce, the public-facing arm of the CCP's united front strategy to boost its influence abroad.
Juliana Stratton championed 🇨🇳 Gotion’s factory in Illinois when it was announced in 2023.
Ni personally hosted Stratton for a tour of Wanxiang America's facilities in Illinois in April 2025. Two weeks later, he wrote a $30,000 check for her PAC, his initial contribution to her campaign.
Wanxiang Group — which Ni's father-in-law Lu Guanqiu (鲁冠球) founded and Ni's brother-in-law Lu Weiding (鲁伟鼎) leads as CEO — remains closely aligned with the CCP. The CCP's Central Committee posthumously awarded Lu Guanqiu with a high-level honorary title in 2021 and, last month, the company celebrated the party's 105th anniversary, stating that it "listens to the Party, follows the Party's lead, holds high the banner, and prioritizes Party building" and launched CCP-themed corporate activities.

As I always say, we've gotten really good at producing the high-cost solution to our enemy's low-cost problem, and we have to flip that paradigm.
That's exactly why I introduced the American Drone Manufacturing Dominance Act, to get Chinese drones out of American law enforcement, build that industrial base here at home, and make sure we're dominating this space before our adversaries do.

Why is a Chinese state-owned food company shipping nearly five tons of drone hardware into the United States through an importer with no apparent ties to the drone industry?
I'm asking @CBP to investigate whether this was a deliberate effort to conceal the true origin of these imports, because if China has found a way to hide drone hardware in plain sight, we have a much bigger problem than one shipment.
