We were blown away by the ammount of young people who joined us today from the Gaelscoul for #BikeWeek2022. However, there was plenty more from the Boys and girls school out on their bike. Special thanks to @GreenSchoolsIre and @GalwayCoCo for funding the #Healthy treats
Just a snippet of the fun way had in #Oranmore today on our #Communitycycle which tooks us all the way to Oranhill and back. As always thanks to those who came, our Marshall's and @GardaTraffic for assisting us with our journey.

This really is the nub of any 'but theres are no cyclists' argument... if only all elected officials had this way of thinking!
My message to every other local elected official who sides with arguments that claim people currently don’t bike on a road so why replace parking with a bike lane: never apologize for prioritizing the safety of all community members over the convenience to some. #GoOutside

Salthill Prom March 2022. A gorgeous morning to start the month which should have seen the Salthill Cycleway start it's trial. Traffic is bumper to bumper. Imagine if these motorists had the alternative of a safe cycleway to use? Still so disappointed for Galway and Salthill.

Why business associations in Vancouver became advocates of bike lanes when the business case showed that bikes lanes = more business. #salthill #ibikesalthill #galway
